This place started out fine but got pretty bad close to the end.
Pro's:
Nice area, close to a lot of things, office ladies are nice, fireplaces.
Con's:
At first maintenance was great. They fixed things quickly. However, after about 6-7 months of living here, they started leaving things a mess, dismissing things like the picture I sent them of exactly where my sink was leaking and telling me that "it wasn't leaking now". They also glued my dishwasherr at one point. Of course it broke again the
...first time I ran it.
They also do not enforce cleaning up after pets. There was always dog poop everywhere and it was even worse when I was there last.
I got emails all the time saying that the water was being shut off. However I was usually at work and didn't worry about it.
Biggest con of all is that they raised rent by almost $200, and after I let them know that I wouldn't be renewing, they tried multiple times to offer some sort of discount, saying that the increase was negotiable.
When I left, my family and I spent hours scrubbing that apartment from top to bottom. I just got my security deposit check today and found that they charged me $60 for cleaning the fridge and replacing two drip pans on the stove. I could have replaced all four for less than that and the fridge was clean when I left. I guess they had to find some way to squeeze as much money out of me as they could. Definitely much happier at my new place where I don't have to worry about being screwed over.
