I picked the best of the options I had when I moved here. It started out great- the apartment is cute, sufficient, and I liked that there are external locks on the main doors.
To counter that: leasing is kind but slowly becoming significantly less and less helpful. The office closed for months. I’ve had a lot of problems in my time here. My 3 biggest issues are the area, the parking, and rodents/bugs. Parking is atrocious- I’ve waited in the lot for over an hour for a space. There aren’t enough ...
spaces for the amount of residents. People are parking in the fire lanes as a last resort (because where else do you park in a full parking lot where you pay to live…) and then getting towed every night. They do parking inspections now. A reserved spot is $20/month. You can’t have guests over if they’re parking anywhere without risking them getting towed. There has been a mouse infestation for at least a YEAR, I fought hard and they supposedly fixed it but they’re back. It took months to get them to do anything more than lay 30 glue traps (none of which worked) and then I was finding corpses in my cabinets. Overall they don’t do enough to rid the property of them, which shouldn’t be too much to ask. The apartment is old too- the drains r always clogged, my cabinet doors fall off, maintenance doesn’t really do great handiwork. The area is very sketchy, and there’s nothing around to do. The app used as the only way to scan into the building also frequently fails, and leaves you locked out. The walls are thin, and it almost always smells like mildew or cigarettes/weed from neighbors.
The apartment suffices as an apartment but the amount of issues I’ve run into is aggravating - just be warned and ready to push if you want assistance.

It's clear (1 week in) that the new management is trying their best with the resources available to them. Leasing office was very informative, kind, & got back to us quickly through the process, including a welcome kit. Shana especially was very good to work with. We had two immediate maintenance requests that were answered on the same day & the workers were very polite. Water pressure is fantastic. No problems with room temp yet. Neighbors helped us move a desk upstairs, kids seem happy here ...
too!
However, these are very old buildings with old building problems. Our floors (in fact all floors in community) are very creaky and buckling / sagging over all the floorspace upstairs. I did research and was only able to find one instance in a review of a 'collapse' (localized, during floor remodeling), but I still feel bad for our neighbors below us when walking around, and am a bit nervous of stability. The staff I have interacted have been working with are great. The problem is this apartment was not ready. The heating is broken, no drain stopper, no microwave oven, bathroom fan is broken, there is a leak under kitchen sink, the lights were flickering but Nelson fixed that, the only kitchen drawer I have is not reinforced enough to safely put utensils, without the drawer giving out. Nelson worked on that and the heater as well but this should not be like this. This apartment should have been ...
looked over before I got here. Brand new cupboard were damaged by a leak and the bottom of drawer was not properly assembled. The whole bottom absolutely would have given out if I hadn’t said something. Nelson tried to fix bathroom fan but it has just stopped where before it made a hell of a noise. He’s only 1 person and not his fault

The current residents above me have been very excessively loud for over a month. Constantly fighting, and making loud noises. The amount of garbage outside has been excessive just as well. Even the bags to pick up after our dogs are completely out, and needs to be refilled.

I enjoy living in this community. Everyone is respectful of each other. The entire staff is awesome and I do love all the different events hosted by the leasing office. I am sorry to see the reward program discontinued. One of my concern is some of the drivers race as if it is the speedway at Dover Downs and the other is the picking up if trash and recycle items. Some completely ignore the stop sign and the ten miles sign. Another pet peeve is recycle items thrown in the regular trash and trash ...
left around both bins even when there is room. I think the frequency of picking up should help be increased.

Lived here for 5 years. Staff and maintenance great! Walls can be a little thin and not the best area. Also my kids lack anything to do since the pool was taken away. But we are hopeful maybe a playground or something new for the kids will take its place.

I love living here. I just don’t like people propping the doors open for non residents here. I really think we need cameras inside the building
