This apartment was everything I needed. Beautiful place(contemporary appliances and very updated), laundry IN unit, parking included in rent, convenient location, and the BEST manager you will ever find. John consistently goes above and beyond to take care of his tenants. I would HIGHLY recommend Courtyard at Ventura Canyon to anyone who is looking for a great place to live.

Terrible parking: No side by side parking, only tandem. Also, NO visitor's parking, they're all being rented out l, even the handicapped parking is being rented out! Street parking is terrible and is about to get worse with the new apartment building on the corner. My car was also deeply scratched, not sure if it was the street or in-gate parking. No pool. No amenities...well there's a gym, finally. Hot water doesn't get hot enough for me, it also takes a while to warm up And we are charged ...
for water! My water bills have never been so high. Not to mention we get charged for sewer (that's an extra 50 bucks a month, include that wheb considering costs). Very noisy, cheap construction. I can hear anyone walking around! Oh and if anyone runs in the hallways, it sounds and feels like an earthquake. I really dislike the washer/dryer. They both dont work to my standards. I almost wish I could remove the washer/dryer and just purchase abd bring in my own. -_-

I'm giving a 5 star not only because the apartment is built with great taste and very convienent in every way, but mainly for our amazing manager John! It's very important to have someone on sight that's always there when you need them and this man does it all! I would never want to leave this building because I know I would never come across a better manager then him! He's amazing!!
