October 3, 2018 - Review from Apartments.comWith all the management changes we had some good and bad.... As for the apartment it sucks and its really not that great at all. Between work orders not getting fixed or having to wait almost 5 months to get a brand used stove and it still doesn't work 100% and the fridge is brand new and it was not working so maintenance just turned it to the coldest setting and said that is the best I can do for you. When it goes out then call us.... Really it was new right out of the box! The kids in ...the area trying to get in cars and its a group of 7 to 8 of them and called the cops on them more than 4 times. The music in the parking lots of people driving through at 3 and 4 in the morning. The lights are out on a bunch of the buildings that shine in the parking lot..... Complained on excessive noise from the people upstairs many times and nothing gets done and I still have to continue to put up with it. The river when it rains that I have to walk through to get to my parking area sucks as its about 2 or 3 inches of water as long as its not down pouring because the run off all comes down that walkway. The gutters are falling off and the few that was just put up was hung incorrectly and they never get cleaned out and that is why they are falling off. Regular maintenance is not something that is done at this complex. I change my own air filters that I purchase and I also spray for bugs once a month so I don't have any bug problem. When I moved into this 2nd apartment that I transferred to I had a big bug problem from day 2 of being in that apartment. The first apartment I had no bugs and only sprayed 3 or 4 times in 2 years but it did have electrical problems that were never addressed.Read More

August 30, 2018 - Review from Apartments.comI've lived here for almost 2 years now. My upstairs neighbors are so loud they wake my baby up from her nap every single day. I've told the office and they said there's nothing they can do other than a "noise complaint" which has no repercussions. The same neighbors purposefully hit my car with their car door while parked under the paid covered parking and the office says that's "not their problem." Maintenance requests take 2 weeks to be finished and when they're done, they're done as cheaply ...and poorly as possible. We're without hot water or any water about once every month. Never ever ever move here. It's not worth the cheap-ish rent.Read More

February 25, 2018 - Review from Apartments.comBefore I moved in I ask did they have a roach problem here because I did not want to go through the same thing as someone I knew. They had to move in then move all their stuff out to bomb the place. The lady in the office assure me they didn’t have that problem here! After moving in roaches start to come out! I put in a request for pest control to come out but they never did. When I went in the office to say they never did they man ask me how many do I see? In my head I’m thinking it doesn’t ...matter because y’all assure that y’all didn’t have a problem. Eventually pest came out and the apartment complex had everybody take everything out of the cabinets and off the counter which was so inconvenient and it seem as if the problem has gotten worst! I see baby roaches all the time and big about 4 to 5 big ones every other day! Yes the apartment do things in the apartment far as activities but beware they will lie to you to get you in! Bomb your apartment if you plan on moving here!!!!!!Read More
bugs and terrible maintenance
June 11, 2017 - Review from Apartments.comthe other review on here is obviously written by staff. This place is horrible. There has been an issue with bugs ever since we moved in. Regardless of how many times we put in pest control requests, it does not get taken care of. sometimes, they don't even come by to spray when we ask, and will swear they did (I've stayed home from work to see if they were coming by.) The maintenance crew are incompetent, nothing gets fixed correctly. We had water coming through the floors of the bathroom twice ...now causing mold under the carpet and attracting more bugs and it's still not fixed.Read More

September 3, 2015 - Review from Apartments.comI love living at Covington Creek! I've lived here for several years. It's on the bus line. The neighborhood is very quiet, and my neighbors are awesome! The grounds are always clean and well-kept. The management staff and the maintenance personnel are always friendly, smiling, and willing to help you with any problems you may have. The location is also very convenient, close to Dallas, and located near the highway. It is also close to schools, a lovely library, and a very nice park. Speaking of ...recreation, Covington Creek also has two wonderful pools, and the management arrange social events regularly for both children and adults.Read More
