Crosswinds Condos
August 14, 2015Crosswinds has been a great place to live. We have just made it past our first year at Crosswinds and so far so good. We had a couple issues when we first moved in. I informed the office and they had everything fixed that week. Even offered to put in new carpets to replace a stain that wouldn't come up. August 7, 2015Moved in during September of 2014. Winter came fast and I found the place quite cozy. There's a fireplace in the corner of the living room, and the bedroom is sooo big. There's a half bath downstairs and a full upstairs. A gorgeous walk-in closet with a modest sized second closet. The neighborhood is extraordinarily quiet with beautiful trees. It was kind of interesting because the bats would flock to these trees at night. It really gave me a creepy sense while I was walking my dog, but it ...was still nice. I actually would have left with this review if it wasn't for the things that happened down the road in our stay here. First off, the bug lady stopped spraying for bugs. This was saddening because it was supposed to be included in the rent. The very few times she would come, and I mean few, she would only spray the kitchen. Now this normally wouldn't be concerning if it wasn't for the ant infestation that came soon after. Those little critters get really annoying. Next came the fleas, and I need not explain how uncomfortable that is. So we hunkered down. I took care of the bugs myself. What's one little negative in a positive atmosphere as this one? I thought that back then, and I was wrong. The grass was mowed once a month, and I do believe it went 5 weeks at one point. That bothered my fiance more than me. But you know if she isn't happy, there's no way you're going to be happy! Fast forward to present day. I decide to have a childhood best friend come over. We get a little drunk. Now most reading this would think we got a noise complaint, but actually the night went good. I woke up the next morning to pounding at my door. I arose to find a man from the office yelling at me. He told me that my sister was living there (she stays two nights a see to go to school) and that I have people coming in and out all the time. I replied that I was not aware that the lease agreement said I couldn't have people come over. He said it didn't. So I guess he was implying that I was performing malicious activities or something weird. But I go to school full-time and work a factory forty hours a week, fiance is quite busy too.
