Horrible people
June 13, 2018Definitely don't move here! By far the shadiest complex in Tyler. I've had a security officer come in unannounced and point a gun in my face simply for walking towards him (a plain clothed stranger) from my kitchen. I've had multiple unannounced entries for "service work". Had my car towed today only to find out they have been sending emails telling all presidents that if they don't get a parking permit your car will be towed. God's honest truth I never received a single notice and it's actually ...documented with them that my email doesn't work fo them. Honestly why is email the only form of contact. They only want you there too take advantage please look somewhere else and save money and a TON of anger. I just can't believe the people I pay rent to on time every month for a year now decided to tow my vehicle even when she admitted to having a list of presidents who had not gotten the parking permit yet if that were the case why not just send me one maybe put it in my mailbox anything other than towing my vehicle.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
DO NOT LIVE HERE!!!
March 21, 2018We have lived here for a while now and my husband lived in a 3 bedroom before so about 3 years in all..(this is my own opinion) It use to be so great and now under new management (Regina) One of the perks of this place out of many others in the area was cable and internet were provided. We got an email a few months ago saying they were putting in water meters and new tenants and people who renew their lease would start getting charged for water which was TOTALLY FAIR and understood. Then we just ...got an email today saying we are being charged for water NOW! I'm sorry, how is that fair? That was not part of our lease agreement... Then the girl said well according to the (whatever she said rules) we can give you a 30 day notice... ummm no? how is that fair AT all? Lets get back to being decent human beings and sticking to the old rule that was fair!! So if you have something in your lease it doesn't matter it can change on you and they are not to be trusted anymore.Property Manager Responded

the best of the bests
September 22, 2016ugh, I just love this apartment so much. from the affordable price to the humongous square footage, great amenities, and the most friendly staffs/maintenance ever. my husband and I felt right at home the moment we walked into the leasing office(attended to by Jennifer, and she is just a wonderfulsoul). the fitness center is truly a "state of the art"(this is where u will always find me). lived here for a year now, but we are about to move to dfw due to new job, and it's the saddest feeling ever ...moving out of Cumberland cause I know we'll never find any like it in dfw. Beautiful
October 8, 2015We moved from NY to TX and my family and I had only three weeks to get things together because my husband is in the military. I researched places and came upon Cumberpland place, it just seemed to be the right fit for us. I worked with Jen in the office and she was so kind and worked with me through everything. We did not have to time to come view the place before we moved here, we just hoped it was everything they said it was. Upon arriving everything was exactly as it was pictured. I felt so ...relaxed and happy. I love our apartment. It's beautiful, very spacious and offers so many amenities. My husband leaves a lot for work and I have two very young girls and I feel safe here which is very important to me. I highly recommend Cumberland Place, it's a great family environment. Just moved in and already amazing!
September 10, 2015I originally loved this place for the rent per square foot, all the bills paid and awesome amenities! I found out later after viewing that I loved the management as well, they are friendly, courteous and knew several tenants by name when they walked in. They can answer all your questions and make sure you are happy. I just moved in and so far the management and maintenance have been great! I filled out my list of things wrong with the apartment (spared no small issue), maintenance was there the ...next day and fixed everything!! My 1 bedroom/1 bath (phase 2) apartment is BEAUTIFUL and every room is HUGE with an abundance of storage/closet space!! September 9, 2015Cumberland apartments are like having a home without all the upkeep. The floor plans are spacious and modern. I love the hugh bathrooms and garden tub. The amenities are outstanding and there is lots of activities for kids to include a dog park for those adorable fur babies.
