January 7, 2026I moved to Portland in 2019 and after researching over 350 communities, I moved in on February 7th, 2021. That has turned out to be perhaps the best decision in my 64.5 years on the planet! There's much to love at Cyan/PDX: solid concrete construction that means a quiet home, large and beautiful windows that allow airflow, wood floors and cabinets, great energy efficiency, fiber optic internet built in and other internet service options, a beautiful patio and park as a back yard, plenty of ...convenient parking, the Portland Streetcar, TriMet buses, and Max stops nearby, the entertainment venues, the University community in the adjacent blocks, many restaurants, shops, cafés, points of interest, places to sit and read or meditate, wonderful views, and bike lanes. The community has seasonal events throughout the year and it has been a pleasure to get to know the diverse and friendly residents and staff. September 29, 2025Cyan/PDX continues to be the finest place I have ever resided. I have now passed another birthday here and this is a good time to take stock of the growth I have made as a person while being resident here. The management and staff have been successful in fostering safety and connection in the community. One of the ways that has happened was with the Pride event of games and barbecue on July 11th. We had wonderful food, music, games and I met remarkable people. I got reminded of the goodwill ...and kindness of the staff. I felt like our community is a microcosm of a peaceful and loving society of people celebrating our vast diversity and embracing giving and receiving love. September 5, 2025I’ve been living at Cyan PDX for about a 2 years now, and overall it’s been a good experience. The location is honestly the best part—being right in downtown Portland means I can walk to restaurants, coffee shops, and the waterfront in just a fewi minutes. August 5, 2025The building itself and location may be nice, but the lack of responsive management and multiple maintenance issues during move-in made this a frustrating experience. My car was damaged while parked in the garage but no response from either building management or City Center Parking regarding the incident and lack of security camera footage assistance. While staff members are pleasant and friendly to interact with, response times for serious issues have been disappointing.Property Manager Responded

July 13, 2025Great building, great front desk staff. Building is poorly maintained. Horrendous community manager (Jael) who hides in office and does not work to address resident issues. Get cookie cutter responses from communications with said community manager instead of thoughtful responses. Her apathy is a perfect match for a company like Grey Star.Property Manager Responded

We do not have any record of any communication between you and our Assistant Community Manager, Jael. She does, however, have a record of communication with your co-signer, during which he complimented her excellent customer service while helping navigate and resolve their inquiry. Our Leasing Team works at the front desk while the Management Team members work in the Management office, which is accessible to residents but not always as visible as our Leasing Team. All residents are our priority, and we do our very best to be available for their needs. You are always welcome to set up an appointment with our Assistant Manager or any other team member. Thank you for your positive feedback regarding our Leasing Team. If you ever have any maintenance needs, please feel welcome to submit a work order through your resident portal or let our team know if you need assistance. We do have an entirely ...new Maintenance Team and have only been receiving positive feedback since this change.
