The parking management just got an upgrade without a price increase, community events are even better and well-suited for the busy residents, and community management and staff are as friendly, courteous, and proactive as ever. I found out that several staff members received awards in the last week and I am not surprised. They have been so service-oriented and respectful to me in the going on six years I have lived here that we have ...enjoyed a lovely relationship. The property and community have only improved and the allure of the restaurants, events, shopping, and transit have been a constant. The views are so great that my co-workers, colleagues, and friends have said they thought that I must be using an AI-generated background when attending virtual meetings. However there have been so many issues with facilities in the building (AC, water, mail delivery), so many maintenance check ins for no reason, and also communication between management. January 7, 2026 - Review from Apartments.comI moved to Portland in 2019 and after researching over 350 communities, I moved in on February 7th, 2021. That has turned out to be perhaps the best decision in my 64.5 years on the planet! There's much to love at Cyan/PDX: solid concrete construction that means a quiet home, large and beautiful windows that allow airflow, wood floors and cabinets, great energy efficiency, fiber optic internet built in and other internet service options, a beautiful patio and park as a back yard, plenty of ...convenient parking, the Portland Streetcar, TriMet buses, and Max stops nearby, the entertainment venues, the University community in the adjacent blocks, many restaurants, shops, cafés, points of interest, places to sit and read or meditate, wonderful views, and bike lanes. The community has seasonal events throughout the year and it has been a pleasure to get to know the diverse and friendly residents and staff. September 29, 2025 - Review from Apartments.comCyan/PDX continues to be the finest place I have ever resided. I have now passed another birthday here and this is a good time to take stock of the growth I have made as a person while being resident here. The management and staff have been successful in fostering safety and connection in the community. One of the ways that has happened was with the Pride event of games and barbecue on July 11th. We had wonderful food, music, games and I met remarkable people. I got reminded of the goodwill ...and kindness of the staff. I felt like our community is a microcosm of a peaceful and loving society of people celebrating our vast diversity and embracing giving and receiving love. What a world it would be if it were more like what we have going at Cyan/PDX. I feel gratitude every day that I made the decision in late 2020—after reviewing over 350 communities to be here. The location is honestly the best part—being right in downtown Portland means I can walk to restaurants, coffee shops, and the waterfront in just a fewi minutes. August 5, 2025 - Review from Apartments.comThe building itself and location may be nice, but the lack of responsive management and multiple maintenance issues during move-in made this a frustrating experience. My car was damaged while parked in the garage but no response from either building management or City Center Parking regarding the incident and lack of security camera footage assistance. While staff members are pleasant and friendly to interact with, response times for serious issues have been disappointing.Property Manager Responded
