Been with them for years and ever since they bought out Dakota apartments the new owners don’t want to pay to fix anything the washer buttons are upside down ac when out and they said there’s a waiting list and that’s it’s ok because it’s not that hot so they’ll see when they fix it. Club house doesn’t have AC either

November 24, 2023 We moved to Dakota in September 2021. From the beginning the entire staff here excellent. Jessica and Misti were very responsive in the office. John and David maintenance staff also very responsive. Work order request handled very efficiently. Any noise which is very little is tolerable and expected in close quarters living. The property is well maintained. We have no complaints!!! I would only suggest to the owners of property. Please consider trimming the trees. They are very ...

Overpriced, Poorly Built Units With A Nice Exterior

The apartments look nice from the outside, but that opinion quickly changes after the first night. Walls and ceilings are very thin and do nothing to dampen noise. You'll be able to enjoy the music your neighbors are listening to at midnight on a work night. You'll hear your neighbor's dogs running and jumping around. Best of all you get vagrants roaming the complex at night and leaving their trash in the bushes come morning.

It has been purchased by a company called canon properties and they are terrible! The worst management and customer service, 5 stars to 1 overnight. Half the time management shows up in PJs and the other half they’re explaining how they made another mistake on rent, communication, packages etc. and how they’re sorry but there’s nothing they can do. They do not monitor the parking lot so the neighboring houses use our lot for their work trucks, and gym office and rec space are now closed by 5:30 I ...

If I could give zero I would. Worst apartment we have ever lived in. Waiting desperately for our lease to be up so we can get out of here. Management are not friendly or helpful. Flies coming out of our drains, black widows all over our garage, the dumpsters smell so badly you don't want to go outside and when you go to take your trash down be prepared to meet a homeless individual who regularly digs through the dumpsters there. The cabinets are cheaply repainted and look terrible. Every drain ...
is clogged in the apartment and the maintenance man had to send the snake about 20 feet down to unclog our kitchen sink when we first moved in. Then only good thing is the pool and that is borderline gross after a weekend. Please rethink moving here there are far better and far cheaper apartments not that far away. I am so dissapointed in our decision to move here...only moved here due to quick move in situation. Should have known then and figured something else out. Bleh....it is so hard to hand over the rent money every month.

I am happy to report that our community does offer weekly pest control service through an independent company. We can treat the interior/exterior of your home and garage. We would be more than happy to set you up for whatever service needs you have. It does require that you stop in to sign a service slip however.
It seems that our service team was able to address your clogged drain. It?s true that part of living in an apartment community is that we do share our main drains with our neighbors, and management does our very best to inform of the proper usage and what materials are not to be placed down the drain to minimalize these types of events from taking place.
I'd like to thank you for bringing the matter to managements attention of the possibility of trespassers within our community. This will allow us to monitor for suspected ...
illegal activities, which may infringe on other residents? quality of life, we do want the opportunity to help resolve these kinds of issues.
I do want to apologize that the cabinets did not meet your expectation upon move in. All residents are given an opportunity of inspection upon move in and are encouraged to thoroughly inspect their new home and report outstanding items to us immediately so that we may have the opportunity to resolve any issues. While we do walk each apartment home prior to move-in, we are human and may overlook certain aspects of the apartment.

Unfortunetly, they talk a good talk but once you've moved in your treated like a number. From Rats being present on the property, which the office laughed about stating they are mascots, to the office staff treating us rudely its not a great place for the family. The only pool on the property is not heated. So it is important to note that it can be used only partially throughout the year. The one spa has been closed more then open.
In the past when bringing up the amenities and the lack of ...
operation we were told that we do not pay our lease for those items. We pay only for our space and those amenities are a bonus... That claim was later contradicted by someone higher in the company.
I believe the office enjoys telling people NO more then yes.
This has not been an enjoyable place to live. I believe the office staff needs to be replaced with some fresh faces that have a better attitude.

This is a beautiful property and apartment complex. My wife and I have been here for almost 2 years. It is probably the nicest complex in the area that isn't over priced. The place looks like a resort and the inside of the aprtments are really niceand spacious, and have washers and dryers in the units. Any maintenance issues have all been taken care of right away, and all of the staff is very friendly.

We have a one year lease. This is our very first apartment. Personally these apartments are very nice, but over priced. We pay almost $1,700 for a two bedroom, but we have had constant problems. The roof has leaked twice in the bedroom, the microwave had stopped working, and now we have to have someone come spray. We have been getting bit by bugs every night the last couple of months.
