November 22, 2022I was scheduled to move in but unable to move because of having to move back home to care for my elderly parents. I notified them two months in advance that I would not be able to move. I understood that I would have to forfeit my security deposit. In addition they charged me a full first month's rent for an apartment that I never lived in and am certain they were able to rent to someone else. The circumstances warranted compassion and they showed none. In addition they are not allowing me to ...make payments via the portal which is an added stress in addition to my caregiving responsibilities. Great place to live
August 1, 2020I have been living here for about 4 years and don’t find my self leaving anytime soon. I love the apartments and the appliances in the home. They are always upgrading and making improvements to the property. The staff is very accommodating and helpful! A/C unit are old
June 22, 2020I have been living around 3 months, and since the begin, the a/c unit has not worked correctly, I set the temperature to 75 and never got less than 77 degrees, it can be on all day long and It won't reach that temperature. Maintenance has come and they 'fixed it' but still does not work, thanks to that I have to pay 160 bucks of electricity. Not happyReview from Apartments.com

January 4, 2019I have been living at 6033 De Zavala for 18 years, its the best place I have live in San Antonio. Every thing is in arms length, Walmart, HEB, Sams, Coscos, Gas Stations, Furniture stores, Endless restaurants, just name it we got it. Access to I 10 freeway within a mile, 410 and 1604 very close. About the apartments the building is well kept, staff is very very nice, beautiful pool with plants and flowers well kept. When you have a service request the respond is within 24hrs. Not worth the price
August 1, 2018I live next to a crack head and across from an animal abuser, whose dog is in a cage on the porch almost every day for many hours after multiple complaints. I can't tell you how many times my daughter has almost been hit by one of the psychos (who they exclusively rent to apparently) driving way too fast at night. There is always noise. Half the people who live here are trashy and rude and inconsiderate. The other half must hide because I'm sure they exist, but I've never had the pleasure of ...experiencing a decent nieghbor. We pay 3 times as much as the last apartment I lived in and the difference in quality is non existent. The only saving grace is the maintenance crew. They are quick, polite, and go the extra mile. Other than that, I have talked many friends and family out of leasing here. There are cheaper apartments with better living experience in the area! June 22, 2018The sound isolation is terrible!!! You can hear every step of your neighbor. I can sleep only with earplugs(but not always). Before moving in I was told that it's very silent there and they would resolve all the problems related to this matter. That's NOT true. We complained about this problem for 1 month but no results. NOBODY can resolve your problem. Told me to wait until the neighbor moved out. I wouldn't have moved here if I had known about it. No private life here. Beautiful Community
November 15, 2017I moved onto this property about 6 months ago and absolutely LOVE it! I love all of the trees and wildlife around! The property is super quiet and my neighbors are awesome! They have a fitness center that can be accessed 24 hours a day, I always see people in there but never have a problem getting on any of the equipment. They also have a "training" class every Wednesday which is nice to mix it up! The property is so large I can run in the morning and not have to go onto De Zavala if I don't ...want to. If I choose to there are nice trails right down the street! The office staff is really nice and helpful and maintenance is quick to respond to any issues that I may have. There are grills throughout the property (both grass and charcoal) I haven't had time to use them but appear to be cleaned regularly. I have been to three resident events so far - FREE food is good.
