Poor Maintenance
June 6, 2024Lived here for last five years. LR Management took over about four years ago and maintenance has gone downhill. My AC started acting up about three years ago, and the maintenance people do everything they can to avoid repairs. If you are not home, even though they have spare keys, they will say that the unit is inaccessible, and close the work order. To make matters worse, none of the maintenance people are HVAC certified, they don't actually fix or service the AC, they use a contractor. But they ...won't call the contractor until the unqualified maintenance worker "inspects" the AC to "troubleshoot" the problem. Last, you are never updated as to the status of your work order, except the day someone is coming out, that's when you will be called. So expect to take off from work/school so you can be home to be sure they actually do the work.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com

April 13, 2024I'm currently living here. The neighbors play loud songs, and nobody is doing anything about it. I've reached out many times to the leasing office, and nothing has been done. I can't even work at home in peace or attend classes online because of how disrespectful people are. if you have kids, work at home, or want a peaceful place to live; then this isn't a good place to stay.Review from Apartments.com
Very Unprofessional
July 5, 2023I had got APPROVED for an apartment ; waiting to hear back from them just for them to turn around and tell me that the people are not moving anymore. How does that work you could have already warned me that they haven’t moved out instead of having me waiting for 4 months. They are holding my holding fee but told me the check was cut on June 01,2023 to be sent back but it’s now July and my holding fee is not here. I’ve already wasted so much time waiting for my apartment now I’m waiting to get my ...money back. So unprofessional. Unprofessional, Disrespectful Tenants, Loud, and Overpriced
March 25, 2021I moved in this apartment during Covid and really just took a chance on it, since I couldn't see it until my Move- In day. The process was somewhat smooth though. But as the months went on, I could see the integrity of the apartment deplete. Me and my sister live on the first floor and our upstairs neighbors were the absolute worst. The floors are thin, meaning you can hear everything above you. EVERYTHING. It sounded like War everyday in our apartment. We communicated our concerns about noise ...multiple times and nothing was done about it. I have lost so much sleep because they couldn't keep their tenants accountable for the noise compliance. The property could be alot cleaner for the price we are paying. Tenants don't clean up after their animals or clean up trash. Appliancesare very old and not updated. Nice , but overpriced
March 1, 2021Honestly , I loved my apartment. I mean it didn’t look anything like the pictures but it was nice . Laundry downstairs ( not in unit ) MAYBE that’s for the townhouses . No hardwood floors , only wood in the kitchen , actually laminatewood I believe . My stove went out and since I was about to move they dismissed the work order . These apartments are over priced for sure , nice looking . But overpriced , that’s one reason I had to leave , I couldn’t afford the rent and especially during COVID as a ...mother , I still owe them 2k which has made my credit shoot down 113 points so far but hey I don’t have it right now . If you’re looking for a nice apartment and have a stretchy dollar , these are for you . Maintance was always on time ( except the stove ) I locked myself out a few times actually and their 24 hour emergency guy was there , he was really nice ( I don’t remember his name , I believe he was maybe a Mexican guy ) really friendly and professional ! June 16, 2018If i could give no stars i would. This is my worst experience renting in over 10 years. Maintenance is absolutely horrible. My dishwasher has been broke for over a year ( I’ve put in several work orders for it.) and the entire unit is falling apart. Tile is the bathroom is cracking I’m almost certain there’s mold behind the walls. I have an allergy and I’m consistently sick. The walls are as thin as paper (you hear everything). I’ve fixed my own garbage disposal because they disregarded yet ...another work order. The people in the leasing office all suffer from a severe level of incompetence I’ve never come in contact with in my life. At Peace Finally
October 22, 2016I love my apt here at Canterbury Woods. I have no complaints. Also the staff here is so wonderful and very helpful at all times. They even go beyond their duties on making sure the tenants are comfortable living here. If they get any negative reviews it's because the tenants don't do their part. Canterbury Woods Apts is a cozy and nice place to live. It's not the workers who makes it hard to live here, but the tenants themselves. Do your part and stop complaining and winning when things don't go ...your way. Your have to abide by rules no matter where you live. Dominque, Abbey, Chelsey,Emerson, you all have been definitely sweethearts and I truly love you all bcus you all are doing a wonderful job. I love you all for the love, help and concern you all have shown me since I've been residing here. And to the maintenance crew you all are doing and excellent job, but I dont think it's fair that you all have to clean up the grounds because of people not using the dumpters and not cleaning up behind their pets. They didn't move you in a destroyed apt, so when you move out don't leave them with one. Right is Right!!!!! The worst place ever- don't make this mistake to go live there. Its a nightmare
September 30, 2016I rent a one bedroom apartment there and it supposed to be upgraded, it wasn't. And you can hear all the people that live in your building. A few months later, a big fire started in one of the buildings, which is normal for them because it happens there every two years, im sure they do it on purpose. However I lost everything and they didn't help with anything, oh they told me that I have one of the options : 1- leave, 2- they have two bedrooms available but I have to pay more. Yes. So I have ...a pregnant wife and I have to agree to pay more and move to the two bedrooms. They let me sign a new lease. So we we t to our new apartment and it was a filthy disgusting mess. I went back to the office asking them to fix it up, they told me they have proirties now. And they never fix it. So I told them it ok I will just leave, they said Nope. You already signed the new lease you cannot leave. Long story short, I had to leave Cruz they didn't show me the apartment before I sign. And guess what ? They report me the credit bureau and from excellent credit to BAD credit. I just hate them so much. They are deviles.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
