Worst Place to Live
July 19, 2023I relocated for a new job and needed somewhere to live. I located the apartments online, applied and was approved. I did not officially move in until 2 months later. Two weeks after living in the apart, I began having severe headaches and eventually bad sinus infections as well as asthma exacerbations. Long story short, I discover some mold in the apart. Informed the manager to get air quality testing. Instead they somewhat "cleaned" the air ducts in the AC, which made it worse. Had to leave and ...stayed in a hotel while paying rent. Would not recommend ANYONE live here.Property Manager Responded

Lived there for on year
December 24, 2021Pro: nice maintenance staff. Did have a decent Pool area, laundry and mail center. Convenient to major thoroughfares, shopping, and downtown Lufkin Cons: apartment was old so many things broke and only temporary fixes were applied. Just moved in
January 12, 2021We just moved in almost a week ago. Soon as we were able to see the apt we got approved for there were some issues we saw. We reported them an they were fixed before move in. So far we have had issues with mostly the ac not working properly but they have been looking at it. Might need new one. But everything has been fine. Wish the offered washer/dryer rental per month. But the laundry mat is nice, easy and not to far from me.Property Manager Responded

Used to be nice...
May 16, 2014Deer Cross used to be a family community, but it has drastically changed. Perhaps that explains why so many people are moving out including our family soon. The noise is just too much. Not to mention the lack of response from management. For the amount that you pay, you would expect better, but no. There is a significant lack of parking at night. Not to mention that the apartments are in need of a renovation because the appliances are all old and constantly breaking down. There are WAY more ...things wrong. It's just not worth what you pay.
