      Five stars is not enough to show how happy I am with Deerfield Commons, especially in regards to the Leasing Consultant Jenny and Property Manager Corey . I have never lived anywhere but a single family home in 42 year so I was a little apprehensive about apartment living until I met for a tour. I feel in love with the fact of not shoveling, and no lawn care maintenance along with all the other amenities that are offered here.       I have lived at this property for over 2 years and have never had any issues. The office staff and maintenance staff are courteous and handle issues quickly. I recommend Deerfield if you are looking for a place that is pet friendly (they have no restrictions) and peaceful.

    • Quickly becoming a trash hole

      I’ve lived at Deerfield for more than three years. Since that time I’ve seen it getting run down and daily maintenance task skipped. They don’t clean the common areas like they used to. There is a light bulb in the ceiling outside my apartment that has been blown for over a year. I’ve submitted several requests for it to be replaced and it has not. Management leaves nasty notes around with snide condescending remarks as if to say it’s a privilege to live at Deerfield. Leases are locked in with ...

    • Pet and Kid Friendly!!

      My family and I have lived here for over 3 years! We have loved our stay here. The entire team is always friendly and helpful. We loved that we could live somewhere where we could take our 100lb dog! That is hard to find! If you are looking for a great place for kids (there is a park), and pet friendly (no size restrictions), then I suggest coming here!

    • Worst rental experience

      Avoid at all costs. For the area you are in, Deerfield is overpriced. Management is terrible. The current manager is a nightmare. I wish they’d bring back the lady he replaced. Maintenance is not handled in a timely fashion. Even an emergency request took hours for someone to respond to and the after hours line to report urgent maintenance needs was staffed by very rude people. Snow removal is not efficient. The handicap parking spaces weren’t cleared and I watched an elderly woman struggle to ...
      get out of her car, get her walker out, and her dog on a solid sheet of ice. She was right near the office too no one bothered to help. Finally saw another resident assist her. The doors to the lobby area of each building are supposed to lock, but they never did. The dog bad dispensers were always empty and the cans to collect the waste always overfilled. They must be very pet friendly though. Lots of dogs of all sizes and breeds. The lady who works at the front desk and the cleaning ladies are really nice and helpful. Outside of those things, just not a good experience. I do not recommend. Maybe with some serious management changes things will improve.

        Thank you for your review. We appreciate your kind words in regards to the leasing consultant and the cleaning staff. We are sorry to hear that the overall experience you had at Deerfield Commons was unpleasant. In regards to the maintenance issues, we are unsure of what emergency may have occurred during your stay at Deerfield but we do have specific procedures in place for our on-call technicians to abide by while on-call. A few items do have a response period of 12 hours as the repairs need to be done during the light of day and anything air conditioning related is to be addressed the following day as the air units need time to unfreeze to be able to preform any services. Again we are unsure if any of those items were your emergency request while living here as we are only providing clarity on the procedures given to the employees. Our on-call answer center is an outside contracted business whom acts as an answering service and then contacts the appropriate personnel during ...

    • Management SUCKS

      The property manager is vindictive. When it was brought to his attention that the pet waste stations were overflowing and needed to be emptied, he chose instead to remove them entirely. He didn’t take our concerns seriously, and treated other tenants like children. Avoid renting here at all costs

        Thank you for your review. We are sorry that you did not have a pleasant experience while living at Deerfield Commons. I do recall the situation regarding the dog waste receptacles and those were returned to their locations after they were thoroughly sanitized no more than 1 day later. Each receptacle is located within feet of a dumpster area so the removal of those to sanitize did not cross the staffs thoughts that it would inhibit the abilities to properly dispose of waste during that time frame. We have taken your review in thought and have altered our cleaning procedures of those areas. Thank you for your input.
