March 24, 2022if you are looking for a sign to keep searching for an apartment let it be this! i am a current resident here, i have lived here for 4 years. in that time i have witnessed the neighborhood go DOWNHILL to the point i am looking to get out of here asap. all of the nice people who lived here when i first moved in have moved away, abandoning their homes because of the unrelenting PROBLEMS they endured. Living here, you are on your own to handle any issues you will face. The leasing office will not ...help you. From maintenance to rude neighbors, you will not get help from anyone. Cars get vandalized in the parking lot, neighbors blast music into the late hours of the night, there is no working hotline if your heat goes out or your toilet breaks. There are issues with water damage and flooding! If your property gets damaged, oh well. They will tell you that it is safe because of its proximity to the police department, and yet there are still vagrants that wander through the property, suspicious vehicles parked by the dumpster waiting for a victim taking their trash out at night. there are break ins and burglaries, drugs and fighting. They will tell you there is a security booth and a gate, but this is a blatant LIE, that booth has been empty since i moved in and the gate is broken. there isnt ANY security for this complex whatsoever. And NOBODY will help you here. so, if you are looking for a safe clean place to live im so sorry to tell you, but this is NOT THE PLACE.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com

July 9, 2018Lived here since 2015, started in 3 bedroom, where everything was great, moved into 2bdrm, and it sucked! Mold in my bedroom that made my newborn sick, took them 6mths to move me into a different building, then got there and had mice problems and ants! They sent exterminator out and he just put down traps as if I couldn't do that myself. The maintenance sucks, and staff dont know if they coming or going! The hallway stairs are filthy, and building smells when u walk in...I hate it and am ...currently waiting for my contract to end so that I can move ASAP! July 24, 2015Lived at Douglas Pointe for 1 year now. When I first moved in I had the most horrible exprience. Everything bad that could happen...happen. Not only was the management staff was not professional, but honestly just rude. Now I think they have new management and I havent had any issues, only minor things. Overall I would recommend anyone to live here but I will be moving soon :-)Review from Apartments.com
