Poor Management
March 21, 2022Management does not fix anything. My A/C was out for two weeks before they could be bothered to fix it. Roof leaks in the laundry room, no one fixed, they just painted over the mold.Review from Apartments.com
Not the best on the block, but can be okay.
July 1, 2018I lived in Dunwoody Pointe since 2011 and moved on in 2018. I have to be honest the complex went from Decent to not so great over time. Now I must say that I've lived comfortable in apartment and never had into issues within the community. In the beginning they had great staff and over time the staffing became unreliable and somebody nonexistent. There is a pretty bad bug issue that they seem to can't get right. They give last minute notices in regards to maintenance or any type of inspection. ...The gate never works, so it would be pointless to say they are a gated community. The overall look and style of the community leaves room for improvement. I have to say that with the raising prices in Sandy Springs, the community doesn't fit the price at all. You won't get the worth in community and at the moment customer service. I hope they can do better in the future.Property Manager Responded

Worst Apartment Ever
June 20, 2018DUNWOODY POINTE ON ROSWELL ROAD Has to be the WORST apartment complex on Roswell road. Imagine I left because of a leaking floor where the carpet was damaged and always wet and they charged me for that. There was mold and roaches everywhere so I had no choice but to get out but had to end up paying them in the end. Enter at your own risk. I am so glad to be gone from there!! Creating new rules just to be a nuisance to the residents. Dunwoody Pointe unequivocally has the worst property manager ...there is on the face of this earth and I would not wish my worst enemy to stay at Dunwoody Pointe. Avoid this place like the plague. Nasty staff and grounds men along with crappy apartments. Nice until you sign then they don't give a crap about you. My all means stay far far far away. Wrote to Westdale the corporate office who equally don't give a crap. Poor management will always lead to poor staff. Appliances that don't work all they do is patch instead of replace. Less than a place to call "home"
May 7, 2017If you're looking for the typical unpleasant apartment experience, this is the one. Management is a nightmare to deal with and the maintenance team is is equally incompetent, not to mention a little creepy considering several of them live in the complex themselves, and like to "patrol" off duty. They like to unnecessarily go out of their way about the small stuff in the complex, and ignore the bigger issues. The gate is constantly broken letting anyone and everyone through. The trash compactor is ...always a giant mess with tons of trash and furniture surrounding it. The complex over all is just lackluster in appearance. The pool is disgusting when it's open which is very rarely. The gym and laundry room as outdated and both disgusting or full of misplaced children who run the complex. They will go out of their way to charge you $100 if you put a bag of trash on the porch if say, it's raining and you don't feel like taking it then? How about take all of the money you're charging people unnecessarily and offer a trash pickup service like all of the other complexs around charging as much as this place. It's an actual joke and the apartments are not somewhere you would want to live. Carpet so dirty there is no getting it clean. It's coming up in most spots exposing nails. The walls are in desperate need of a paint job. Most sliding doors are broken upon move in. The kitchen is about a foot long, with old outdated applicants and that are falling apart. Staff great, Manager is incompetent
November 7, 2016This place is absolute nightmare since new management has taken over. They up'ed the rent on everyone along with the water bill. They get in your personal space and take pictures and charge you $100 any chance they can get. The pool was closed down for a total of 31 days this summer and was dirty when it was open. They treat you like a child when it comes to rent and take away your ability to pay online so that we have to take days off of work to please them. The apartments are infested with ...roaches. I reached out to them to spray. they guy did not know I was home when he came to spray. he walked in left a card and left without spraying. even though he left a card stating he did the service. Do yourself a favor and go someone else unless new management quits or gets fired for her incompetence to manage. Dunwoody Point
August 10, 2015I have been here for 5 years now. Overall, its an ok place. When I first moved in the cost was lower than the avg. but they have definitely gone up. The gates are broken or open about 50% of the time which defeats the purpose of being gated. They are really good about responding to maintenance request. And do work to stay ahead of the necessary upkeep. However, they do perform un-requested maintenance with little to no notice. I have come home to everything being removed from my cabinets and most ...recently no stairs. There aren't a ton of kids in the complex so over all its usually quiet. There is the occasional domestic argument or loud tenant, but they usually are handled quickly. The management tends to change often which means the standard of customer service is inconsistent. The gym is usually full of kids playing on the machines without supervision. Overall it's an ok place to live for the price.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
