Avoid at ALL Costs
January 12, 2025active US Coast Guard w extensive research online from out of state about the complex before moving in. Clear false advertisement and very suspicious mostly positive Google Reviews. The pictures are NOT ACCURATE. Grounds and complex less than adequately maintained. Nothing like “Resort living”, very run down. Management changed several times within the few weeks I was dealing with leasing office. Still disputing false advertising on Sanalwood Managments part. Fisherman's Paradise
November 30, 2022This place is different than any other apartment I've lived in. Being on Clear Lake, you can go fishing and crabbing right off the pier. I do most of my fishing at night time and I catch some big fish out here! Catfish, red fish, trout...everything. And the dolphins come in during the morning and evening to feed. Short Corporate Stay
December 21, 2021My company leased an apartment here and I loved it. I stayed for 2 months in a furnished apartment, but I wish I could've stayed longer. The vibe of the community is fun and relaxed. I got to fish on the weekends and get to know some of my neighbors. Never met a person that was rude. I'm hoping to come back, thanks Amanda & Levi! Fantastic Place to Live!!
September 16, 2019This is a beautiful complex and a wonderful community. The management is incredible. The apt manager Amanda and her team are always friendly and helpful. They go above and beyond for the residents. It's a fun and relaxing place to live. There is a large pier with covered swings that are great to sit and watch the boats on Clear Lake. November 18, 2018Run faster than the wind from this place. I unfortunately live here and it is the complete worse place to live. We have had so many issues with the apartment they placed us in. We are on the second floor and not one floor in any of the rooms are even, the bedrooms are the worse. Furniture has fallen on my smaller children wounding them leaving knots on their head even after I leveled out the furniture that I can but unless you have time to do so on a daily basis its useless because things shift ...daily. My kids and I have not slept in our beds for months because I am scared the beds will snap in our sleep. The electrical in my unit is so dangerous. All plugs have to be hanging halfway out of socket to turn on. The apartment always smells like sewage. Every time it rains be aware that they painted the sidewalks and stairs with that parking lot/stripe shiny slippery paint. I have had to go to ER due to a fall from this and all my children have fell injuring themselves going down the stairs(pics to prove). I refuse to allow my elderly mom come anywhere near this place. No guest parking so god forbid you have friends or a life. They have towed our personal cars numerous times at $400 a tow. The management team is a joke and terribly unprofessional to say the least. The manager lives and parties hard on site. She is very clicky with her crew and they are fast to past judgement on those who rather not partake in their festivities. I can agree with others this place is for the single and those who like to party A LOT!!! The manager does not do well with customer service at all. I moved in with high hopes of this place but it's been nothing less of awful since move in date. So run please I wish I still could. Any one know of any lawyers SMH...RUUUUUN!!!Property Manager Responded

October 12, 2018Lived here a year. Website is deceiving. Reviews are all from managers friends. Manager is a joke. Want to find her, go to the pool. Shes always there drunk or high. Want discount on rent, supply her with weed. Want 4 car spaces, while others get one, sleep with her. You learn alot from living here for a year.
