Bad Neighbors, Fleas, and mold.
April 13, 2022I lived in this neighborhood for a number of years. I could write a book on why it's bad. I'm writing this because I feel people need to be warned. Today there was a news story about a young man who shot someone else in the chest here. But honestly that's not the first time something like this has happened here. This isn't a safe place to live. I went out of my apartment many times to have men harassing me, a gas line explosion in my building, someone shot out of the apartment behind mine and the ...cops came to my apartment to see if I was okay. I know of at least 5 people being killed here in the past 10 years. They put window units in the wall so mold grows in and on your wall. They take forever to fix things or don't do it at all. The rent is super high here for what you get. The photos on this site a photoshopped. If you have no pets you will also get fleas that will eat you in the summer. If you value your health a safety, stay away. You can find a better place with cheaper rent elsewhere.Property Manager Responded

Get what you pay for
December 29, 2021Renter beware. Within a week of moving in I have experienced: My dog getting fleas for the first time ever, likely from taking him on walks around the complex, a broken dishwasher that after being fixed, still doesn't even clean the dishes and just leaves them hot and wet, outlets dangling out of the walls, a sink that was installed incorrectly, radiators that don't turn off regardless of thermostat settings, overpriced internet that never works for more than 3-4 hours at a time, and a toilet ...that can't even flush properly. Only after writing a stern email to the front office did any of this get taken care of. The front office staff is very nice and patient, and the maintenance team I'm sure is doing the best they can. But you get what you pay for. Biggest redeeming quality is the proximity to Eastgate Towne Center.Property Manager Responded

Just moved out
November 3, 2021Tried to raise my 6 month lease renewal $300 more than the last, Internet always had trouble that took weeks/months to fix, only option was them or 3mb/s from Cincinnati Bell. Complaining only got you lied to. Pool wasn't open the whole year, and they are still raising rent. Only good thing about them was they were good at managing in-apartment repairs in a timely manner. Very Reasonable

Great Community!

The price is good and the staff is professional and helpful. They always try to be friendly and helpful in any number of situations (both good and bad). I recommend Eastgate Woods. disgusting place
December 30, 2017There's a reason there is only one review on here. One time I left a bad review on their facebook page (bc this place tried to charge me for four months for the previous residents electric bill) and the property manager, Bryan, called me and asked what he had to do for me to take it down. This place is mold invested, the internet service I pay $50 a month for doesn't work, and there are drug dealers everywhere. This isn't a joke, Don't live in Eastgate Hood. I was from KY so I had no idea what I ...was getting into. This place is cute at first until you live here for two months and smell marijuana everyday and get your car silly stringed by neighborhood hood rats. Oh and the women in the office are horrific. Worst place to live
September 20, 2017We lived here for 2 years, the first few months were great, they fixed whatever needed to be fixed right away. After the first couple months, everything went downhill from there. Our apartment flooded 3 times, yes 3 times! It took them 2 weeks to come fix the leaks so they just kept leaking and water went everywhere. The main flood happened when it poured down outside and it also took them forever to come dry the carpet. We moved out a couple months ago, so we were waiting to get our deposit ...back($450)! Nope, didn't get our deposit back, not a dime, instead, they are making us pay $500 to replace the carpet(after it flooded 3 times), making us pay for bed bug decontamination(I called many times and they never came back to decontaminate the apartment for the 2nd time), making us pay for them to paint the walls(the walls weren't even painted when we moved in in 2015). All in all, this place is the absolute worst place to live and I will NEVER recomend this place to anyone. Also, our car got broken into 2 times and they wouldn't file a report for us. Our front door also almost got broken into but my husband scared them off! All the office people are the rudest people in the world, I can't stand the old lady that works up there, some of them are okay but the majority of them are just horrible and rude!! March 24, 2017Very nice quiet neighborhood. Everyone seems friendly including the people in the office. If there are any problems to your apartment they are very fast acting upon getting it fixed. Very unprofessional.
December 5, 2016I am A current resident going on 3 years here. This morning I was awoken to pounding outside my apartment. I live on the third floor so would not be expecting a man standing on my balcony while I am not dressed. I freaked out and he freaked out. I called the office to find out what is going on. The girl that answered the phone was polite and professional but said hold on and let me get you someone. Then Gary came to the phone, the property manager. This is not the first time I have encountered ...this man. He is vulgar and unprofessional. Yes I was upset over the incident having been woken up and seeing someone looking in my third floor window, I was not calm but did not expected to get yelled at and cussed at by management. I am a 50 year old adult and to have so one insensitive as to the situation is beyond me. He says he has worked here for 30 years, that may explain why the reviews for this place are always so bad. I asked for the main corporate # and he refused to give it to me and said look it up. Well I did and I will be contacting an atty as well. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
