Rough first month
November 3, 2019I moved in a little over a month ago. Immediately after I signed the lease, the property manager informed me that there was a part missing for my HVAC unit and that I was not to touch my thermostat. She assured me it would not be a problem because the thermostat was set to the "ideal temperature." Moving in was quite rough as it was 78 degrees, which is not the "ideal temperature" in my opinion. I requested an AC window unit, which was provided. A couple weeks later, my apartment was 62 ...degrees as it was getting colder outside. I brought this to the attention of the property manager and was told space heaters were not available. She sent someone to fix my heater as the part that was missing was for the AC. Since this was the case, I'm not sure why the heater wasn't working before I moved in. The heater was then fixed with cardboard and duct tape, which concerns me. One month later, the part has still not been installed. I expressed my frustrations, suggesting a rent discount for all this trouble/the difference in bills from using an inefficient window AC unit for my entire apartment and was denied. Additionally, the floor in my kitchen is uneven so I can't eat at my kitchen table as it wobbles too much. The hallways reek of smoke despite all the neighboring apartments being labelled "smoke free." I would not recommend these apartments but have heard from others that their experiences have been better than mine.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Manipulative Apartment Management
April 16, 2018Have lived in the apartment for over a year. When we signed the paper work we remember seeing a paper that states we can break the lease for New job or buying a house. The form did not mention that to be able to break your lease you would have to have had been paying an additional amount each month on their high rent prices already. They charge additional for a garage spot per spot or park outside for free. A fee to be able to access the workout and pool room, and the equipment is broken and in ...poor shape. The appliances are old and out dated. The fridge does not make ice and is small, dishwasher is weak and does not clean effectively and there is no cabinets for food storage after all your plates and pots and pans are put away. In the winter you are lucky if the snow has been plowed before you leave and forget about them being helpful in an emergency. Do not recommend.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com

September 20, 2015I love the location of my apartment! It is 5 minutes from major deparment stores and the local shops are amazing! The school system is wonderful and there is busing for all the children, even the high school. If you like entertainment there is plenty at the Rocksino and local bars and restaurants! There is a 24 hour fitness facility and a pool room, with 24 hour security cameras. There is also a pool for those hot summer days with a life guard.Review from Apartments.com
Ask Questions Before Moving in Two Bedroom Split
August 21, 2015There is a design flaw with the two bedroom split where the smaller bedroom does not receive heat nor air meaning the room is super hot in the summer and cold in the winter. The leasing agent was aware of it, but didn't mention until after move-in. All utilities, even water, are the tenant's responsibility even though other apartments owned by Gross which look just like a Eaton Ridge have water included in the rent.
