June 14, 2026 - Review from Apartments.comDuring the summer months, the in-wall AC units would frequently stop blowing cool air and required multiple maintenance visits over time. The entrance gate was also removed without communication to tenants, which was disappointing. We additionally had ongoing issues with neighborhood children playing hockey directly in front of our home, which unfortunately resulted in repeated damage to our vehicles and insurance claims. Snow removal in our section of the complex was also consistently delayed ...to the point where neighbors often cleared the area themselves before crews arrived.Read More
Rental spikes
May 31, 2023 - Review from Apartments.comThey raise the rents hundreds of dollars each year. They justify by market value but it never goes down when the market slows. They also charge almost a dollar each month for using their "green" rental payment system. My sprinkler hoses have been exposed in my front yard for months. I've had a dead tree in my front yard for 3 years. This was a gated community when I moved in and they took down the gate about 8 months ago and have no plans to replace it. I would not rent at Echo Pond if you can ...find another suitable home. There are security concerns with no gate, no privacy fence, and tenants not living in Echo Pond walking through to jump a fence to get to 7-11. Also, it is quite loud off Sunrise Highway. I would not call it luxury living. All the amenities mentioned on their website are about a 5-10 minute drive away. There are no amenities on site. The outlying roads are unsafe for bicycling or walking so my children cannot get to the amenities safely without a driver.Read More
Not much done in 3 years.
May 31, 2022 - Review from Apartments.comFront area and all areas except front entrance haven't been mulched in 3 years I've lived here. I have sprinkler system hoses 2 inches above mulch. Looks terrible. If you lose a 3 dollar rubber swimming pool band the replacement fee is 100 dollars. Some strange practices here.
