June 22, 2025one of the worst apartment complexes in the area, for the price rooms are small, windows are sealed (painted) shut, appliances are very old, A/C didn't work, bad insulation so it's very hot, do not move your family here, as I applied for the lease the price went up and up. they say certain things are part of rent, but then you get a extra bill at the end of your lease that will take your deposit, you can tell a lot of these reviews are fake. do. not. move. here.Review from Apartments.com
TERRIBLE MANAGEMENT
August 3, 2023Management moved into my apartment before my lease ended because I had already moved into my new apartment. However, I was still using the apartment to store a few items before my lease ended (High value items were kept in secret locations). Management failed to ask if I was fully vacated and started renovating the unit so they could rent it out. I paid for the full extent of my lease. I have asked for a proration to my last months rent in addition to compensation of some items I had left in the ...unit. It has been close to 3.5 weeks and they cannot get an answer on how long they have been renovating my apartment for. They need the approval of a regional manager that is unfortunately out of the office, to expedite a check. After me pressuring them, they disclosed PERSONA/ FAMILY matter information about where the regional manager is and put forth all blame on him. From the start this management has tried to increase my rent while I was away in Florida, changed the lock on my unit while my lease was still active and fail to take responsibility. Not to mention the receptionist that hung up on me because I kept pressuring her on the money I need back. I was asked to be flexible but I doubt the same flexibility would be awarded if I didn't pay them rent. Stay away from Eden Prairie. Worst management ever!!
November 10, 2022Please please please do not mover here at all! Management sucks! We had a major flood in our unit and it nearly took 2 weeks for them to say anything of acknowledge it. Ceiling had water damage, floor and carpet had water damage. They said they would fix the ceiling walls and carpet. So far they so called “ fixed the ceiling and walls” but all they did was cover it up with paint. And didn’t even put up new dry wall. But it’s okay! I’m going to serve them and sue the heck out of them! I have ...enough proof of all the negligence they have in all these units. I’ve talked to people, I have pictures, signed letters from tenants and these comments help. I called my lawyer and the city and department of health in these last few days. Terrible Customer Service
July 1, 2022Eden Prairie Apartments encouraged us to apply for an apartment and assured us that they will have available apartments at the move in date, only for all apartments to be taken. I truly believe they encouraged us to apply (and probably others) to collect all nonrefundable application fees. When we began questioning them and asking if our application was approved (over a week later) they responded that they needed more time to process the application (mind you other apartments can process an ...application in less than 48 hours). The worst place to live
February 20, 2022This place doesn't even deserve one star. I thought that the management of the previous owner was bad but the actual Eden Prairie apartments management is the worst that I have ever seen. I have been complaining about the heat for a while but they really don't care. It's super cold in my unit. It is 60°F during day and night . They are required by the law to have the heat at least at 68°F. My kids got sicks so many times during this winter because of this irresponsible management. We have 2 ...laundries in the building that have been out of service for months and months. We complained so many but they don't care. Disgusting how they expect us to live here
February 12, 2022My family and I have lived here for about 10 years now, before it was Meadowdale Apartments. Mind you, it was never the nicest, cleanest, nor newer apartments out there, but it was home. Rent of course as continued to rise over the years, despite of nothing getting remodeled nor fixed. Over the past month, we have had immense water damage to multiple rooms in our 2 bedroom and cockroach infestation (which we've been reporting since December and nothing has been done). The first instance of ...water damage on the ceiling, they told us they would just paint over it once it dried .. The second, worst instance of water damage included water coming down from the ceiling and walls of our rooms. The third, most disgusting instance was DIRTY water coming up from the toilet and tub, covering the bathroom floor. We had no choice but to pack up our stuff right then and there. Hours passed where the office and maintenance would not answer nor pick up our phone. We have yet to hear back from anyone regarding receiving compensation for needing to stay at a hotel nearby. Nor has anyone tried to offer us a clean, safe apartment meanwhile. This place does NOT care that this is where people live, that this is where people grow up, and where people grow old.
