Not worth it
March 17, 2026After three years of living at Eden West, I will no longer be renewing my lease for several reasons. The property seems like it’s falling apart. There were a row of garages destroyed by a storm two years ago that they have no plans of fixing. It’s just an eyesore and a loss of money for them. My neighbor has mentioned a mouse problem which means we all have a mouse problem. My other neighbor had sewer water falling from her ceiling. During the winter times people let their dogs poop right in ...front of your front door and it’ll stay there until the snow melts. Disgusting. On top of it all, the property manager does not advocate for her attendance. I’ve had some mixed experiences.. Sometimes they’re helpful, sometimes they’re rude. I’ve heard they have a history of not wanting to give the security deposit back so I can only hope that I will not have any further issues with this company.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com

February 14, 2026In the 3.5 years I've lived at Eden, there's been more positives than negatives, and I'm grateful to have found this complex in Omaha. For being close to Dodge St. and Westroads mall, it's still pretty safe and quiet. The nearby school, retirement home and family neighborhoods help with that, along with well lit at night and a security unit monitoring the property through the night. The staff at Eden are friendly, welcoming and truly help with what they can to work with you. Maintenance is quick ...to respond to requests. The grounds crew does a great job as well throughout the year of keeping the complex looking presentable spring-fall and are quick to remove snow in the winter. The pool area is nice and kept up well. Easy to enjoy in the summer! The patio rules are a little strict, but understandable. The laundry room is basic, has many washers & dryers and a table where you can watch TV while folding your clothes. I haven't used the gym, but it has a decent selection of equipment to get the job done. The only downside I can think of is that the garages could use an upgrade, but the other projects they've chosen to prioritize are also understandable. Highly Recommend
February 4, 2026Our lease is coming due in a month and we will definitely be renewing, WE LOVE IT HERE. The Front Staff Gina, Becky & Rucha arre all so Wonderful and Helpful, we went from a House of 29 years to an apartment and they all made the transaction so easy. Answered all my silly questions. The maintenance Staff Sam, Atticus and Louis are so helpful, efficient and always go above and beyond. The new swimming pool is fantastic. And sitting out on our patio, with a cup of coffee looking out at the well ...manicured courtyard is a delight. So wonderful not to have to mow,rake or shovel snow. October 12, 2023This place thinks updating lighting outside, removing beautiful trees and their “nifty” loft apartments will distract you from the horrible craftsmanship and bad piping and 1970s windows and doors that leak your heat and a/c that they have not updated. September 9, 2023Since we moved to Eden West in May, we have been very comfortable. We have friendly neighbors, it is very quiet, and there are many stores nearby. Poor Management
May 27, 2019D’ante is by far the most stuck up employee we have encountered. He was very rude and kept rushing us because it was his lunch break, even after we told him we took our lunch break to go there. He also said he makes so much commission and rents a lot of rooms so he doesn’t work Saturday’s and didn’t want to come in on his day off. Honestly left this place so disappointed. Scam artists and poor customer service
April 25, 2017This was by far the worst rental experience I have ever had. I lived in a loft for 3 years, and initially really liked my unit. However, from the beginning the toilet did not work properly. I reported it about a dozen times in the 3 years I lived there, and almost every time I did, maintenance staff would claim nothing was wrong. This became a running theme during my stay: Report an issue, maintenance claims nothing is wrong, report several more times before issue is resolved. Last summer both my ...girlfriend's and my car were broken into. When I asked Eden West what they were doing to improve security, their only response was that they wanted a police report. They refused to answer, nor did it appear, there were doing anything to make the complex safer. I just moved out at the end of March 2017, and never received my security deposit or a statement in the 2 week window mandated by NE state law. When I contacted Eden West about this, they emailed me a bill for 3 times my security deposit, claiming I am responsible for the carpet being replaced etc. When I asked for proof that the carpet was new when I moved in, and other proof that needs to be furnished to someone when charging them like this, they refused to send me anything, and sent my account to a collections agency. Amazing
August 5, 2015I simply love this apartment. It is a loft apartment, very spacious and well maintained. The maintenance staff is always prompt and quick to respond to all requests. The leasing staff is very friendly and personable. The swimming pool and workout facility and laundry facility are great and always open when you need them to be.
