Smoke smell, Roaches, and A/C

I've lived here a few months. My unit still smells like smoke, is full of roaches (despite four sprays), and the A/C only kind of works. The A/C was incorrectly set and malfunctioning before I moved in which cost me hundreds of dollars with AEP before I had even stepped foot inside. Notices to enter the premises are always given for a span of several days, 9AM-5PM and never include reasoning (except for pest control, about which they are thankfully more clear). Those are only some of the reasons ...

I would encourage anyone considering this apartment to carefully read some of the five star reviews on this platform and others with a critical lens, I seriously doubt that most of them are real. I wish I had taken another look before I signed. Last, ensure you see the unit you will sign for before you move in, if you do decide to live here. I wouldn't.
