Bad Plumbing & Black Mold
May 13, 2023They refuse to fix plumbing, they only sent remodeling crew to fix drywall. Problem has been reoccurring for 2 years without resolution. This caused black mold and multitude of related health issues.Property Manager Responded
June 28, 2023Thank you for leaving a review about our community and we are sorry to hear that you have had a negative experience during your stay with us. We do strive to have the best maintenance team for our residents and address all maintenance issues within 24 hours. When a maintenance request is submitted, we inspect the issue/area to ensure the repairs are completed fully. Depending on the maintenance issue in the apartment, there are times when additional vendors are needed to make the repairs such as drywall and plumbing repairs. When there is a mold claim, we do offer our residents our Mold Remediation Policy. If you would like to discuss this further, please reach out to the leasing office.

July 22, 2017El Lago apartments is a beautiful place. Dont let that full you like it did us. They took advantage of my wife and I. We even feel a little harrassed by them. We never missed rent. So, they gave us $800 in charges with no proof or explenation of anything. We contact them to talk and they hang up. We call account specialist. No response. Now we need to follow legal action because they wont comply. Do not move here.Review from Apartments.com
I really regret moving here
August 25, 2016I lived here for two years and it continued to decline. Staff changes frequently and does not care about the people living there. When I had no AC in the summer I had to call over and over for three days in a row to finally have someone fix it. Mckinney police are called there almost every night. I was so happy to move out, as a single female, i did not feel safe there at dark. Of course when I moved out they charged me hundreds for 'damages' that they found a week after i moved out. inadequate parking
September 23, 2015have been here five years and at first I was told I would have to go on a waiting list for a garage! then they changed it to specific apts having garages 'assigned' to them regardless if they were rented or not! I am an elderly retired 69 yr old woman and sometimes I can't park within a block of my apt. Imagine having to carry groceries or shopping bundles that far in rain , snow, freezing or hot weather!Review from Apartments.com

August 19, 2015The apartment inside and outside are very nice and very reasonably priced with very good square footage. The reason I rated it three stars is because the management is not the best, they very rarely answer the phones and the parking situation isn't good. I have two adults in my apartment and neither of us have a parking spot. The office says they will give us one but we have been there for five months now; and still nothing.Review from Apartments.com
