This place is so overpriced. It looks nice on the outside but there is always something breaking on the inside and the walls are very thin. They have poor communication with you if something goes wrong. They also take their time to fix things. There is mold in the apartments. Mine ended up having mold and roof leaks that flooded the apartment. I moved out early bc they were taking their time with removing the mold and fixing the roof problem. The apartment eventually started to smell weird and I ...
didn’t even live there for one year. I’ve also had friends/neighbors who have said they also have mold in their apartment. I’ll also add that they don’t communicate with your insurance company when you want to file a claim through renters insurance. It’s very frustrating. It seems writing a negative review is the only way for attention to be made and for them to respond properly. Save your time and money.

Super Nice but ...

We did a long, cross country move and needed an apartment for a temporary time. Chez Elan was the closest to a perfect fit that we could find. The grounds were always immaculate. The gounds crews were almost constantly mowing and trimming and keeping the area looking great. The pool area was awesome and the crew always kept the pool in tip top condition. They also checked often to make sure that only residents and their guest were using the pool. Any intruders were chased right out. The ...
fitness center was nice. Not big, but adequate. The doggy play area was adequate, and had a cool little fountain so you could get water for your dog, but it was rather small, which was disappointing since there was so much open area that could have been used. The outdoor grill areas were nice, but would have been nice if they'd had gas grills. The gals working in the office - most of them were really competent and good at their jobs (there's always one that doesn't fit, isn't there?). The apartments were clean and most of the people living there were friendly. It was really friendly and we didn't experience any excessive noise. The apartment itself was nice. The bathrooms were very roomy, which was really nice and the closets were huge. We had two vehicles and most of the time, we could get both parked close to our apartment. On occasion, if we came home particularly late or something, we might have to park down a bit, but there was always pace for both our SUV's. We enjoyed our time there, BUT … we didn't need a big long lease, so we got rapped for rent. The cost for a 2 bedroom, even for a longer lease, was very expensive. We could afford it, but we paid almost $500 more for rent than I pay for my mortgage on a 3 bed, house on 3/4 of an acre with a pool. So there is that. But I will say if I had to live in an apartment again, I'd hope it was as nice as Chez Elan.

I never write reviews, but I had to for this apartment complex! I lived here from 2014-2017 & wish I could find another apartment complex like this. The Manager Betty is great! She's a very polite, sweet, and caring person. As long as she's the manager here, I'd always recommend this place to others. Any issue I had here, she would take care of it right away and would work with me to make sure we were happy tenants. Every year when my lease was up, she would work with me & the management company ...
on new pricing to keep me there. I cannot say enough positive things about her or the other employees. They are just very friendly and actually care when you have issues. The 2 maintenance people there are absolutely great as well! They take care of any issue very quickly and are very polite and friendly. They go above and beyond for sure. The gym here is great! Way better than what you'd see at other apartment complexes. Always maintained, something breaks it's fixed within the week as far as the gym goes. I think this is a great place to call home, it is close to so many things without being in the high tourist area and causing awful traffic. The staff is great and maintenance are always prompt if anything goes wrong. The community itself is clean and well kept and the pool area is spectacular. I have enjoyed this place more than any other apartment I have had over the years.

This is a very well kept area with plenty of parking and activity space. The fact is however, that as nice as these apartment are I feel( most of the resident in the complex do as well) that we are over paying for the space. The average cost of a 2 bed and 2 bath is roughly between $800 and $1000 and get the same amenities. These apartments would cost you more than renting a house with the same stipulations.
