Disappointing Experience Despite High Hopes

My experience here was unsafe and uncomfortable:
I am a current resident in the community!
Racial slurs overheard in shared spaces (pool)
Poor air quality, indoor temps up to 85°in the summer (even with the ceiling fan), cold bedrooms for kids
Noise and smoking (marijuana) outside windows at all hours
Security gate unreliable for almost 3 years
Ongoing admin issues and dismissive responses to concerns
Frequent Office Staff turnover
The model apartment has different appliances than the space you ...
actually rent.
The Fees are high---you have to pay for trash and internet and sometimes they do not pick it up, and sometimes the internet goes out for hours.
The community promotes inclusion via their Fair Housing Stickers, but my lived experience didn't reflect that. Representation is not enough without training, accountability, and genuine commitment to safety and respect.
We're relieved to be moving on and hope management takes feedback seriously for future residents. Corporate is aware of the concerns, and they do respond, but it doesn't seem to change the experience living here.
