Lies
July 24, 2023This listing is full of lies. It was remodeled in 2020 - the building is actually 100 years old. There is a crack in the foundation and flooding in the garden level apartments. It is street parking, no assigned parking. Rent is up to $400 higher than listed because they will force a utilities package on you that is ridiculously high. The landlord is lazy to respond to issues and the "manager" (owner's sister) is offsite and nonresponsive. My old place was $500 less per month in rent and twice ...the size (not in Elmwood) - these apartments are small and poorly designed for comfortable movement and peaceful enjoyment. The owner gave people at the open house after the remodel gift cards for writing 5 star reviews. It was advertised in the local newspaper.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
NOT LUXURY!!!
June 27, 2023Incredibly small apartments. One person has a hard time getting around. Kitchen does not have full-sized appliances and a very small kitchen sink with a faucet much too large for it. No dishwasher. Separate small freezer which takes up the space where a recliner should go. Forget about bringing all of your furniture. There's no place for it! Elm Haven Place is more of renovated hotel. The apartments are that small.Review from Apartments.com
Retired and Downsizing
March 3, 2022My wife and I (both retired) recently moved into Elm Havel Place after downsizing our home, and have been absolutely impressed with Pam's friendly customer service. Rooms have hardwood floor, bright windows, new appliances, and my favorite part is Elm Haven Place pays for the utilities (not me) and free internet. Lots of nice neighbors, lots of places to go on the weekends.Review from Apartments.com
