The building did and is still going through renovations, but the units are poorly renovated. The countertops aren’t new (look underneath the island over hang), there are gaps in the trim, cheap, nasty feeling paint on the walls, the cabinet doors are the only thing that are new and the paint job is mediocre at best and last, but certainly not least Cockroaches are all over this building. Taking every precaution I could (plugging drains, sealing the door, cleaning etc) and the building’s pest ...
control could not contain this problem. I am not exaggerating either. These roaches are huge. There’s nothing worse than coming back from a trip to find dead roaches on your floor and have to wonder where they were in your apt and clean everything all over again just to ease your mind. Don’t fall for the initial feel you get from touring, the unit sizes (they are spacious), or the location fool you. Also, the office staff are nice until after you move in. Once your lease is signed, you’re just another number. The door staff is friendly though.
