Bring Lysol!
June 27, 2024It’s almost July and the pool hasn’t been opened d yet. Lots of trash, the valet service does not pick up trash on a daily basis so if anything gets left outside the squirrels or birds get to it and it get strewn all over the place. My unit was horrible when I moved in, dirty and the AC wasn’t working. Lots of bugs and dog waste. I’ve witnessed one drug bust already and I’m pretty confident a dealer is operating out of one of the buildings across the street. I can’t go outside without smelling ...weed (I’m totally cool with it but I don’t always want to smell it). Don’t even get me started on the motorcycles without tags racing through the complex.Property Manager Responded

Yikes
October 14, 2023The first day I moved in here the AC wasn't working, the stove didn't work and the place was disgusting. There is dog waste and trash all over the property so watch your step. You get what you pay for
April 25, 2023I cannot believe how much I was charged per month for such poor service. The change in management has been handled poorly at best. My move-in paperwork was lost and my service tickets were forced closed and never completed during the transition. When I put tickets back in for repairs, most of them were closed without resolution. For the entire year the laundry facilities were closed and the pool was never opened. Not only did I not get all of the amenities that I paid for, but they actually ...wanted to increase rent year over year. The only reason I was able to keep my cool for my time there was because Lupita at the front desk was so sweet and empathetic. I've never felt so ripped off in my life.Property Manager Responded

Great place
August 9, 2021This is a nice place to live very quiet and very friendly people. And for it to be a older property it is very well maintained. The maintenance staff is very nice and keeps you informed about what is going on with your work orders. Plus it's close to shoppingReview from Apartments.com

November 9, 2020You may be looking at reviews of this complex because it’s one of the least expensive options in the area. I know I certainly did. Emerald Forest is an older complex. While this isn't necessarily the worst thing, there were a few factors that negatively impacted my experience in my unit. First and foremost you NEED TO ask your leasing agent about hot water outages. It was a major problem for months while I lived there that there was either no water pressure at all, or the water would never heat ...up. I think they have finally procured a new boiler, but just keep in mind that some units will not have individual water heaters. What was frustrating about this was that the outages were unexpected, and several times I had to either take a cold shower or go to work/class without bathing. Management sometimes did not communicate about outages until several hours after the fact.Property Manager Responded

September 25, 2020The people in the office are extremely rude. You have to put in numerous work orders and go up to the office multiple times just to get something fixed. One of the worst
July 23, 2020This complex is a complex if you are trying to start off. There are so many faults around and in the complex including management. The apartments are not taken care of. Currently in my apartment there is a big piece of paint hanging from the ceiling where there has clearly been some water damage. They did not even attempt to patch it or paint it. There are so many random lines through the apartments on the walls that have no purpose my guess is crappy painting. The complex has horrible lighting I ...literally could step on a snake outside at night and not know. Yes they have recently sent out a email about putting out lights but why were they not already out. For the price of the rent I expected a better living situation than this, but I guess that’s why they rushed us in with a special. When we moved in the apartment wasn’t cleaned (after being told we had to wait for that day for it to be cleaned). Literally spider webs were in the corners and hanging from the chandelier!!!!! Again only move here if it’s temporary and even then pray on it!!!Property Manager Responded

Poor Quality
March 24, 2020I am a current resident and last week in the middle of the night a water line burst and resulted in the bathroom and bedroom ceiling falling in and my apartment being flooded. I understand with the pandemic going on that everyone is practicing social distancing, however how am I supposed to live in an apartment that looks like this until the end of the pandemic. They will not transfer me into another unit and with the weather constantly changing mold spores could potentially grow from the water ...line damage. All they are saying is that they cannot do anything for me. I do not recommend living here and will be vacating at the end of my lease term.Property Manager Responded
