The quality of the community is going downhill
January 6, 2025Emerson Park used to be a great community when Cortland was managing it, but now that it’s under Coastal Ridge, things have taken a turn for the worse. During snowy days, salt isn’t spread, making it hazardous to walk—I nearly slipped and fell. Snow cleanup is poorly handled. The gym maintenance has also declined. Some days, there are no wipes provided, and the wipe bins are often left empty. Unfortunately, the quality of the community is going downhill.Review from Apartments.com

February 29, 2024Living here has been great and I’m so happy we were able to obtain the location in Westerville. Our family moved here from North Carolina and the only thing I used to select Cortland Emerson was the commute time it took for my husband to get to work and the website. Once we finally moved in i appreciate how functional the layout of our 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment is. I do wish we had more counter space in the kitchen but all the appliances are new and easy to clean. My children and I can sit on ...our front porch safely when the weather is nice and take walks to the community park easily. We are also within 25-30 minutes of a commute to the heart of Columbus but the main place we go is the Westerville Public library and target. October 13, 2023We absolutely love the green spaces and side walks that are everywhere within our community. It makes us feel like we are not on top of neighbors and are able to enjoy our community more. The community also offers large balcony’s with storage spaces attached that comes in so handy!! We spend lots of time on our large balcony. The view is amazing as it over looks a pond and it feels so private because you cannot see either neighbor on either side. A place to call home

December 16, 2022I've been here for over a year and the residents are super friendly and lots of us have become friends. I enjoy having a well-maintained, pretty, peaceful place to call home. When I visit the leasing office the staff is friendly and helpful. I can take my dog to the dog park at the center of the complex or walk her in the neighborhood and I always feel safe. I like the layout of the community; the roads are wide and there is plenty of parking. It's not crowded with buildings like some other ...apartment complexes. It feels homey. Although it is a very dog-friendly complex, you never hear barking. My dog is happy here. Her entertainment is watching "dog TV" through the patio door.Property Manager Responded
