Great Place
June 26, 2023I’ve lived here for almost 2 years. Amenities are good, heat comes with rent, and laundry and storage are right in the basement. Parking is plentiful, and there are many destinations within walking distance. I can hear my upstairs neighbor often, but that’s to be expected almost anywhere. The neighborhood is overall quiet and nice. The maintenance crew and the property manager are friendly and always willing to lend a hand for any issue.Property Manager Responded

TERRIBLE
November 9, 2018I hated living here. There are so many issues. First, the noise. Even if you live on the second floor, be prepared to hear EVERYTHING that goes on below you. Coughing, talking, TV, music, and the ceiling fan (will shake your floor). Second, the office manager and the complex are incredibly inflexible. They will refuse to work with you prior to signing a lease or after, so make sure you're ready to fully commit. They didn't let me get out of the lease a month early, which is fine, but then the ...maintenance crew saw I was moving all my things out early and tried to get me to turn in my key so they could perform work on the apartment in order to rent it out sooner. Unbelievable. Third, they will tell you the water bill will be $30 every three months. Be prepared for an $80 bill. This will be a sewer fee, service fee, and water. Lastly, when it is icy the entire sidewalk freezes over, including the door freezing shut. Very unsafe. I would not recommend living here.Property Manager Responded

Annoying place to live- will rent to anybody
September 19, 2016This place was so annoying to live at. We were promised a community of professionals, professional grad students & retirees- non smoking & quiet. what we got was far from that. College kids getting apartments paid for by mommy & daddy, people smoking indoors, yelling, blasting televisions, smells of weed & uncleanliness. The maintenance staff were the only good part of living here. They were professional & friendly. The office mamanger was annoying, always acted as if she couldn't be bothered- ...& would be unprofessional when speaking. We were so disappointed that our stay at Emerson square turned out so poorly- we were hopeful that it would be a place to come home & relax- we actually looked forward to going to work while living here. People were constantly moving in & out, that should have tipped us off. Don't know how this place got such good initial reviews- maybe it was under different management in the past. July 26, 2015This apartment is wonderful! Cable, heat, air conditioning, laundry facilities are included. Our kitchen came with an oven, stove, fridge, dishwasher & microwave! The neighborhood & building are very quiet, & we are located extremely close to 2 grocery stores, the boulevard mall, & many other various shops. The day we moved in we found that if we needed something- it was so close & accessible. There is plenty of parking, and a storage unit is included too.
