While I was looking for an apartment in Albuquerque for college (that would allow my 50 lbs dog!) I was having a lot of problems until I found The Arbors!
The website says 45 lbs maximum on pet size, but I came in and met with the receptionists and they were all wonderfully helpful and said that it would be no problem. I got moved in with no issues (you need to bring a money order for your deposit, not cash!) it was a very quick and easy process.

...don't notice any noise at night either, and three pools that always seem clean! I haven't seen a single roach inside my apartment either which is a HUGE plus for me in Albuquerque (previous apartments I lived in were riddled with them).
I had a slight air conditioning issue one time, but right when I informed the office they fixed it for me no problem!
I think the apartments are in a great location as well, you won't be going far for shopping or parks! Even getting to the university isn't bad with the buses or even just driving.
The few things that are a slight annoyance to me (and that make it 4/5 instead of 5/5) is that there is no dishwasher and the fact that while it's true the only utility you pay for is electric, pretty much everything is electric. Electric stove/oven, heaters, water heater... So the fixed price you pay for gas/water/trash is pretty much just water/trash. No gas!
It's a great place to live and I'd recommend it to anyone on a budget (especially if you have pets!).
