      • The worst place ever

        August 5, 2024
        Don't be fooled - the photos are misleading and the apartments are full of roaches. In addition to the bugs, the apartment was DISGUSTING when we moved in. I highly recommend going somewhere else - DO NOT rent from them. And if you are curious, make sure you do a tour before signing any paperwork - be sure to see the unit they plan to put you in. Best wishes on the apartment hunt!

        It was fine until I needed any repairs done to my apartment. When I moved in (and still the case) it smelled so strongly of cat urine that it made me dizzy. They refuse to replace the carpet although i let management know its affecting my asthma ( i have a dog too so im concerned for his well being too). The maintenance guy literally told me when he came to make repairs that the issues (freezing shower) was my fault? Management did get that fixed, but every problem i had, I was told was and i ...

        The apartment i moved into was not very clean. Stains on the carpets and on the bathroom walls. The carpet is clearly very old and needs to be replaced. The old carpet caused a gross smell in my apartment for months over the summer when it was hot out. My AC unit was broken and barely blew out any air for months before maintenance finally replaced it for me. Many of the residents are inconsiderate of their neighbors and are noisy all night long. There are cigarettes thrown all over the property. ...
        Residents don’t pick up after their pets and dogs are always off their leashes. Other than my air conditioning issue, the staff in the office was usually very prompt at resolving any problems I encountered while living there. The space itself was a good size and layout for me and very affordable. But I did not feel safe on this property once it got dark outside due to the area of town it’s in. I guess it’s an okay place for a short term lease but I do not recommend this complex for long term living.

        The place is affordable, but is ridden with problems. Roaches and mice are a major issue. The ladies at the office with tell you they spray, but the issue is already in the wall. When anything has to be taken care of they make you wait so long for anyone to come. Then they do such a bad job. Walk away people walk away.

        Worst place to live! Stay far away from this place. If possible I would give zero stars. There were so many bugs and nothing was done about it. My car was booted 2 times and when I asked why, they couldn't give me an answer. After I moved out, they sent me a letter saying I owe $700+ and the multiple discriptions just said April 2019 and nothing else. I know I don't owe them anything but they will just try to take your money. By FAR the worst apartment I've ever lived in. This place needs to be ...

        They are the worse with making this place feel like home. They are terrible at making the maintenance man fix everything in the apartment that he's supposed to on top of everything. Every single time we have the pest control over, they sit there and tell the office that our house is cluttered and it's not cluttered, it's completely cleaned. I would never recommend anybody ever to live here. So if you ever think about moving here, just don't.

        If you like bugs, then this is the place for you -- especially roaches. The place is very poorly insulated and the noise is terrible. The police are there often, and I could often hear yelling and fighting right outside my door. Don't even go into the laundry room, it's gross. And a word to the wise: If for some reason you do find yourself living there, do not trust the staff. Make sure to get and keep copies of EVERYTHING.

        While I was looking for an apartment in Albuquerque for college (that would allow my 50 lbs dog!) I was having a lot of problems until I found The Arbors! The website says 45 lbs maximum on pet size, but I came in and met with the receptionists and they were all wonderfully helpful and said that it would be no problem. I got moved in with no issues (you need to bring a money order for your deposit, not cash!) it was a very quick and easy process. Living here is quite nice, friendly people, I ...
        don't notice any noise at night either, and three pools that always seem clean! I haven't seen a single roach inside my apartment either which is a HUGE plus for me in Albuquerque (previous apartments I lived in were riddled with them). I had a slight air conditioning issue one time, but right when I informed the office they fixed it for me no problem! I think the apartments are in a great location as well, you won't be going far for shopping or parks! Even getting to the university isn't bad with the buses or even just driving. The few things that are a slight annoyance to me (and that make it 4/5 instead of 5/5) is that there is no dishwasher and the fact that while it's true the only utility you pay for is electric, pretty much everything is electric. Electric stove/oven, heaters, water heater... So the fixed price you pay for gas/water/trash is pretty much just water/trash. No gas! It's a great place to live and I'd recommend it to anyone on a budget (especially if you have pets!).

        I was told the apartment was exterminated weekly. However, there is a huge roach problem. Management was supposed to come fix my bath tub. I have yet to hear anything. People are loud and obnoxious all night and if you want a place to put your microwave, I suggest you look into something else. $700 a month for bedrooms the size of a closet? NO THANKS!

        If you are on the bottom floor,there is a large patio waiting for you.The third, no noisy neighbors above you. there is a large pool area and fun exercise room. the staff is friendly and helpful.I like that the nearest gas station is only a short walk away.
