TERRIBLE MANAGEMENT

I lived here for almost 3 years. There was a constant issue of garbage and dog poop all over the property and if you told management they did nothing about it. Some times you would even find poop in the hallways from peoples dogs. The fire alarm goes off multiple times a day all hours of the day. To top it off there are NO cameras in the parking lots, only in the entrances. College kids vandalize your cars and the management could care less. They do not screen pets so there are aggressive dogs ...
living here. Again all brought to management, and nothing was resolved. They throttle the hot water in the summer months to save money and lie to you about it. We were promised a pool and a dog wash when moving in and that college kids were only there one more semester (2 years ago) and they are still there. Overall would not recommend.

Reliable transportation, poor wifi.

The internet is unreliable when it bothers to connect. I pay for my own. The only place that services this area is Time Warner Cable. The actual cable itself is great. Without paying more, the phone in your apartment can only be used to call up to your room if you get locked out. They charge a $400 one-time fee to have cats or dogs and you can keep smaller pets here for free, as long as the office knows you have them. There are two large dumpsters to take your garbage and recycling to, one on ...
the East side and one on the West. They are both out in the parking lots. They have a pool table, dart board, table tennis set, wiis, and tvs with cable. Most of these are open all the time with the exception of the pool table, which is more popular. The media room on the third floor has a giant bean bag where all your friends can sit in front of a large tv with a wii and a dvd player. They have a couple study rooms with tables that are pretty quiet. Also they have two rooms with a computer hooked up to a printer (gets the best wifi in the building, too), that are free for you. For the most part the apartments are quiet. Occasionally in the evenings, I will hear singing or shouting in the courtyard. If you do not want to run into loud drunk boys, avoid the game room above the lobby at night! If you drive, they have plenty of free parking. All 3 College at Brockport Shuttles have stops here. Campus shuttle- The Campus shuttle runs Monday-Friday, about 7am to 11pm. It will show up every half hour. Shopping shuttle- This one runs Monday-Thursday, 6pm-9pm, and Friday-Saturday 3pm-9pm. It comes every 40 minutes. Village shuttle- AKA the drunk bus. Don't expect to come off this bus with your hearing intact. The bus is useful for getting to the village, but a lot of people want to stay out later than it runs. Also, the bus driver is a pill. They can't get anyone else to run it (understandably), but this guy skips stops and doesn't care about students. Safe ride- University Police's service, which takes people around campus every night from 8pm-2am (by phone call). It only takes you to the corner of Redman and New Campus. You have a decent walk from there back to the Suites, including crossing a street you can't fully see down. Management- The office workers are friendly, but students. They will always let you in your room if you get locked out. The actual management is not here on weekends, but they are helpful.
