It is pretty nice at these apartments. When I first moved in I was surprised to find a nice bottle of wine and as some contact that so happens to be my wife’s favorite. The staff here are friendly and willing to work with you when things get rough as long as you keep them in the loop.

BEWARE!!! They add FEES every chance they get. I lived here for 6 months and paid to break my lease. They charged me $130 for carpet cleaning for the bedroom only, an additional $150 because my apartment was no "clean" enough even though I never even had the opportunity to fully move in. All in all my total "fees" at move out was over $1,600++. You will have no recourse because all they will do is send it to collections. DO NOT RENT HERE.

great place to live

have lived here for over 3 years now and we love the quiet community and friendly staff! they are quick to meet the needs of maintenance and keeping the grounds clean. I have never had an issue that was no resolved quickly. roanoke is a great family friendly city with lots to do within 5 miles from our community, not to mention this complex offers resident appreciation events monthly as well as other incentives.

First off this apartment has a horrible flea problem, so if you have dogs please please dont move here for your pups sake. I have always given my dog flea treatments but even with that my poor dog suffered so bad. We were able to get them out of our apartment by doing treatments at our own expense BUT it didn't matter because the grounds are INFESTED with fleas so as soon as your dog steps outside they are attacked. I contacted the front desk several times about it but they are super unhelpful ...
and seem to just not care. The gates do not work either so don't let them try and sell you on the "gated community". I lived at Enclave for a year and the gates were pretty much never closed and the fobs that they give you dont work either. The complex is nice and pretty if you can look past the stone that is falling off the side of the building that never gets fixed. But if you do decide to move here please make sure to check your final bill. They want you to leave your apartment absolutely spotless so I hired an awesome lady to come clean our place before we gave the keys back and let me tell you she killed it. I made sure to take a video of the place before we gave the keys back and thank goodness I did because on the final bill they tried to charge me for housekeeping. When I called and asked why they said I left the inside of the oven dirty and the stove with spots on it, NOT TRUE. I told them I had a video of everything proving that the place was literally spotless. The people that work in the front office are so unhelpful and at times flat out rude, I went to get paint to cover up some spots on the wall and the front desk girl gave me so much attitude and then when she gave me the paint she said, don't be surprised if this doesn't match. Well guess what it didnt match and then they tried to charge me for their own mistake! Pretty much don't move here.

Be aware that they bait and switch, add fees any chance they can, and WILL screw you if you don’t document everything. I pay for a luxury apartment that really is not luxury. It’s always dirty, hallways are filthy, trash everywhere. Dumpsters overflowing, dog poop everywhere. People let their dogs loose because the dog park gate doesn’t even latch. I cannot wait until my lease is up, I’m moving into Lost Spurs next door because my friend lives there and she loves it.

We have been living here for about 6 months, half way through our year long lease and it has been nothing but awful since day 1! Everything has been a hassle since we moved in from our mail situation, to parking, to the condition of our apartment upon move in. The office staff is useless and rude, acting as if your living situation is some kind of nuisance to them. Needless to say our move out date can't come soon enough!

I've lived here almost two years and the community is peaceful and well-maintained. On site property management is attentive and there are no delays in their providing of services, maintenance, and addressing various issues and complaints from the residents. The amenities are leagues above other properties. What are typically upgrades in other properties, are the standard in the apartment units here. I remain impressed!

If I could give less than one star I would. We signed a 2 year lease and have only ever had problems. Our buildings fire alarms would constantly go off and I'd have to take my two terrified kids downstairs not knowing what was going on MULTIPLE times. When we got showed our apartments they didn't say we would have awful dark floors in our apartment or else I would have NOT signed a lease. The whole staff is rude and unprofessional and thinks they are better than everyone else. There is NEVER a ...
parking spot because 99% of spots are reserved but the people that pay for the spots park in open parking. You can hear everyone talking in their apartments from in the hallways. The dogs are ALWAYS barking and we've even gotten a call saying our dog is barking when we don't have a pet The trash compactor smells like crap 24/7 so if you're in any of the three buildings next to it that is all you smell. The lightbulbs in the apartments are constantly going out because they chose to do modern lighting tracks, which look nice don't get me wrong, but we put in a work order at least once a month on lighting. Our downstairs neighbors house constantly wreak of marijuana, which is obviously what I want my two kids growing up around. We spend way too much money to live here for us to be this disappointed. I highly suggest choosing somewhere else!

All looks but poor quality

I moved in about 1.5 years ago. Thinking that signing a 2 year lease and locking in that rate was an awesome idea. Oh boy was I wrong! There has been issue after issue with this place. From faulty fire alarms that going off in the middle of the night and that take hours to turn off to water leaks in the hall way. Some of the personal issues I've had to deal with are the leasing office opening my packages and neglecting to admitted till I call about 10 times and do some mail delivery ...
investigation. The sprinklers systems flooding my yard that I pay a premium for to the point were it is a complete mud pit. I have to have light bulbs replaced nearly every month cause they are too cheap to buy good ones that last. They put up two different color wooden blinds and it took nearly 3 guys and 2 hours to confirm it's the wrong color. Today I had siding fall off the side of the building only a foot from where I was standing. It was made of a stone like material and would have seriously hurt if it hit me in the head. Needless to say I will be very happy when my lease is up in a few months and I can start looking again. I recommend that you do not move here unless you enjoy constant headaches.
