Living here 7 years and counting
June 30, 2024I'm a quiet person, I like to pay my bills and essentially be left to myself. The complex is perfect for this. I am allowed to decorate my yard area within their limits (nothing perminate, expected) if I have an issue it's typically resolved within 24 hours or less. The maintenance team is impeccable. My hot water tank sprung a leak and not only did they replace it very fast but took care of my belongings by moving them and drawing up water and placing high fans to help dry the areas. Snow ...removal is prompt. After living here for such a time my only 2 personal dislikes, which may not be applicable to other units is the textured walls, they hurt if you brush against them and I do wish the lay out was a little more open. I am happy here hence staying so long.Property Manager Responded

Safe, quiet neighborhood
May 14, 2024English Village is a safe, quiet neighborhood. Living here has been easy. I almost never hear my neighbor's that are on both sides of us. The area surrounding the apartments is easily accessible, only a mile from exit 17. Grounds are well kept, and maintenance is quick to respond. One of the only apartments in the area that allows pets.Review from Apartments.com

May 13, 2024SAFE & SPACIOUS!! This community checks off every box... convenient location to local stores or malls, close to major highway to get to work, set back away from major roads & a massive middle ground around office that has everything for someone of any age can enjoy!! Children & Parents & pets can feel safe outside! 4 years & counting.... and we don't want to live anywhere else unless we buy a Home. We Explore various parks to enjoy Swing Sets & look forward to swimming wherever we're at a ...River, Lake or Ocean. Friendly neighbors.. Quiet, Attentive maintenance crew, Manicured Grounds, Great office staff, Easy communication methods, Nice mailman- BEST DECISION we made was moving into a Phase 2 Townhouse here!Property Manager Responded

Great Value/ Great location
May 11, 2022Rented a townhouse in phase 2 and could not have been happier! It is spacious, clean, quiet, and well maintained! If there are issues the property manager , Anna Rich, is incredibly responsive attending to them! I has an issue with a dishwasher that was replaced immediately upon calling! They also have a nice playground, hoop court, pool, and dog park! It's a great place to live if you enjoy peace and quiet!! I highly recommend!!Review from Apartments.com

June 16, 2017My experience in the almost 6 months I've lived in these apartments has been a good one overall. The phase 1 apartment itself is very spacious for the price and everything in the apartment is in good condition. I especially love the finished basement that provides a whole extra floor of space to use. It was a huge upgrade from our last apartment that was much smaller for a similar price. It does get hot in the summer, but you are allowed to put in your own air conditioners so it isn't much of ...a problem. Any other minor problems we had encountered have been taken care of promptly by the friendly maintenance crew. The other tenants seem to get along and the community itself is very nice. I often see tenants interacting at the pool or the basketball court as friends, rather than just neighbors. I plan on living here past my one year lease.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com

September 2, 2015If you have the nice apartments in the back, this development can be nice. There is a lot of room and a full basement. We had problems with our basement leaking and some water leaking into the bedroom. It took a while to get them to actually do something about it after several requests. The heat and air conditioning is all electric and central. It can get very expensive in the winter. The tennis court and basketball court is a joke. They are so run down, it is not worth using. The pool is nice, ...but it is always crowded. The parking situation is also tough. Each apartment has one spot. If you have more than one car, you have to park behind each other. If people park next to you, you have to have the person behind you move so you can get out. Overall this is a nice place to live. The community is nice.
