I have lived here for 8 or 9 years. I've seen management and maintenance
come and go. Is this a training sight? I would like to say that the newest English Village overseer has cleaned
things up in grounds and office. She and the office help have made it possible to get things done. That goes for maintenance too. I see them working hard. Thanks English Village for a comfortable place to stay.

English Village is conveniently located near Missouri State University and the downtown area, as well as a short drive onto the highway to get to any place in Springfield you want. The staff is friendly and helpful and you can't beat the price! The buildings are older but still in good shape. Free carpet installation is offered with lease renewal, which is nice. They also offer rent discounts for outdoor decorations for holidays.
Quiet Apartments Tucked Away In Central Springfield

These apartments are well maintained and have little traffic. They are located in Central Springfield where you can still get to major stores and restaurants. They have great space and walking areas, two pools and excellent maintenance. The staff is wonderful, helpful and always on the ball.

This is the perfect apartment complex to catch a bus into town. It has one- and two-bedroom apartments which are handicapped accessible. The staff is very welcoming and helpful. It has a swimming pool, lounge chairs and dining tables and well-maintained commons areas. It is incredibly quiet here!!!!!!

I signed paper work to have an apartment. It was all finalized. I had even paid the deposit. I got a call the week before I was to move in and there was a new property manger because the one I had signed paperwork with before had up and quit. The new property manger told me that the apartment I was to have needed painting done still and that the shower needed replaced because it was falling in. That apartment was 475 a month. So I could not rent the apartment. She then offered to show me another ...
apartment that was 500 dollars. It was a newly updated apartment. I asked if they could lower it to what I had signed for and she told me no. Luckily another apartment opened due to a back out. Had that not happened I would have put up a fight. They give you a key to lock the laundry room so homeless and wanderers don't steel but the lock is broken so it is left open. I have spotted roaches in and outside of my apartment and they "do a monthly spray". I also lived here before with my parents and they never fixed anything when asked. The pool is run down and discusting with dirty water in it year round. Not very appealing to the eye. When my parents were here we never knew who and when we got a new apartment manager and they tried to clame my parents hadn't paid rent when they had proof they had. I have been here seven months and have had 3 apartment managers.
