Great location and neighbors, bad management

We did not receive the "updated" apartment we are paying for, but our neighbors and being walking distance from City Center makes this a 2 star review. Management is bad at useful communication which has effected the quality of life here as well as the roaches we've been fighting since we've moved in. Trying to get the office to follow through with things they've promised has been difficult as well.

Overall, I think Estancia is a pretty nice place. The office staff seems to care and do the best job they can. Maintenance did their job and if not for part availability, I think they could have resolved my issues much quicker.

Estancia is very quiet! Would like a little more space for what I pay HOWEVER it's reasonably priced compared to where it's located. Maintenance staff has been quick to fix anything that needs attention. So far it's been a pleasant experience!

Senior Mgt is friendly, lnowledgable &

Apt. floor plan is excellent throughout!
Capital improvements over the past 18 months
were excellent from contractors for painting,
carport replacement & beautiful, contemporary!
Gym was completely rennovated with the
best updated equipment!

Great location, terrible service

Location is great, but that’s not unique to this complex. Plenty of properties to choose from around here. Take the reviews from people who have only lived here a few weeks with a grain of salt, Greystar offers a points system to incentivize people to leave good reviews.
I am counting down the days until I’m no longer giving Greystar my hard-earned money. Front office staff and maintenance simply do not care about resident experience. Tickets routinely take weeks to address and multiple rounds ...
of service, service is confirmed for a certain day and then maintenance shows up on another, items left in worse condition rather than fixed, and ZERO communication about tickets (minus constant spam surveys when items haven’t even been addressed.) Rent is far too high for this level of service. Would love to know what corporate shareholder salaries look like.
I was told the thick layer of ice around all of our windows and outdoor doors in the winter was “to be expected,” along with cold drafts causing hikes in our electric bill. Take a walk around the complex in winter and you’ll see towels shoved against windows or plastic/foil trying to keep the cold out. Mildew is apparently considered normal at Estancia.
Many dog waste bins have been removed from the property, and dog parks turn to mud pits in the rain.
Broken glass sat outside of a building for 6 months, as did a dead rabbit in the middle of the sidewalk. Maintenance is too short staffed to address tickets, let alone ensure the property is safely maintained.
Greystar staff - before you post your typical “we’d love to talk more with you, please contact us” generic message, I have. You aren’t listening.

I miss some of the best people have left who is Karla who got me signed up for my 4th year here now. Very beautiful the all new plants that were planted this year. And keeping them watered and the grass even stayed healthy. Looks really nice this year taking my walks.

I have been living at Estancia at City Center for over seven years, and I have loved being here. The Leasing Office and the management at this apartment complex is super nice, prompt, and handle things responsibly. I recommend this apartment complex without a doubt. The value for money at Estancia at City Center is far superior to the apartment complexes in this area in Lenexa.
