Quiet, safe community!
April 20, 2021Property is well maintained, family-friendly, very quiet and feels safe. The management is helpful when needed, but doesn't bombard residents with constant new rules or requirements. Rent is extremely reasonable. And, the property is close by too some really great walking and hiking trails, and easy access to transit.Property Manager Responded

Lived here almost five years
April 20, 2021Lived here for almost five years now, besides inevitable things like soda machines (oustide rep) eating dollar bills etc, the apartment complex itself is actually very nice and relaxed. Staff has changed a lot, but the staff now seems to be dialed in and making big moves. If you want a simple nice escape in the tress, yet still close to the college and amenities it's a perfect apartment.Property Manager Responded

Worst manager I’ve ever had
March 5, 2021I have been lied to, ignored, and disrespected by this manager. I have gone in to the office over a half of dozen times in the last two months and have been pushed away or lied to. Almost every call goes to voicemail, they also put two of my roommates information in wrong restricting them from paying rent but told us for three months that it was our fault and to “deal with it”.Property Manager Responded

Great for Students
August 23, 2019I've been living here while going to school. I moved in with some friends after I got tired of the colleges small housing. It's right across from the college which makes it easy to live off campus and save gas. Their workers have always been really nice and helpful. Best Memories!
August 22, 2019Evergreen Garden apartments has been the best place I've stayed ever! I love that the beach is a very short walk away! I love waking up early in the morning to grab a cup of coffee and walk down to the beach. It's absolutely amazing to see the sun rise on the beach. The office management is amazing! They'll work with you and help you even when you're struggling! You just have to keep them informed! :) They dealt with me when I was between jobs and couldn't pay a couple hundred dollars for a ...months rent. The college is nearby and even though I wasn't enrolled, it was so nice to be able to walk over there and enjoy the campus itself. They have a bagel shop over there that has great pizza bagels! I made a lot of friends while here too! My neighbor was so great I was probably in his apartment more than mine. The management sends a newsletter every month through email. It's so nice that they put information about things going on both on and off the property. There was a food truck gathering thing at the capitol and if it wasn't for the newsletter then I would've missed out on the delicious pig belly cheesy bacon macaroni I had! The wildlife out there is crazy! I was actually able to stand just a few inches from a buck that had HUGE antlers! I could actually feel his breath on my leg! They have coffee and tend to have cookies, cakes, candy, etc in the office for free! They also have more than a few vending machines scattered around. My apartment is beautiful. They remodeled just a couple years ago and my cabinets have this beautiful natural wood. Unfortunately I'll have to move in the next couple months since my partner just got a really good job in Spokane but I wish I could stay! I will REALLY miss this place. Great place to live
August 22, 2019My girlfriend and I moved here in 2016. We had a loft apartment and it was so cool. The staircase is awesome and it was really nice being on the second floor. We had our own washer and dryer, which was a huge plus! I loved all the trees and how they all bloomed in the spring, it was really pretty. We never had any problems when we were there. Staff was always really nice and maintenance was always on it, even when our smoke alarms stopped working after hours. I didn't have problems with it being ...loud, parking was hit and miss late at night after work but there was always street parking nearby. I see other people said they raise rent a lot but in the two years I lived there that only happened twice. And when we moved out we were only charged for carpet cleaning to sanitize the place, but we got like 90% of our deposit back. I really liked it there, it was a great starter apartment.Property Manager Responded

Our First Home!
August 21, 2019My Fiance and I moved into this complex right after we graduated high school. We only planned to be there for a month or two but ended up staying TWO YEARS! Life is crazy. Once we moved in we loved it too much to leave. It was our first home and we had the best time there. We became great friends with our neighbors (they are even invited to our wedding), we loved that we weren't in the thick of Olympia but still remained close to everything we needed, and our apartment was great! We never had any ...noise issues, parking could be difficult late at night but wasn't a constant issue, they had fun events every month with food, and we always had a warning when they were going to raise rent. We had to move to a new city due to a job opportunity but if it weren't for that, we would still be living at Evergreen Rock Maple!Property Manager Responded

TERRIBLE
August 21, 2019This is one of the worst apartment complexes i have ever lived in. I am not impressed and can not wait to move; luckily the contract is month to month so obviously i plan on moving as soon as possible although i have heard it is difficult to get the huge down deposit back here.Property Manager Responded

New managers as of June 2018
June 21, 2018Previous managers were absolutely horrible. The place was ran terribly, nothing got done, and the office was an unorganized mess. It is now under completely new management (as of 6/18/18) and they are loads better. They listen to your problems and do their best to get issues resolved immediately. Don't Even Bother. It may be cheap, but they'll try to steal your money.
April 2, 2017I'm not exaggerating when I say PLEASE DONT LIVE HERE. The management doesn't care about your problems, but will give you attitude and personally threaten to kick you out when you're having a simple argument with a roomie. They break the law. They steal money. If you're smart, you can get your security deposit back. But if you let it go, you'll never see it again. I had to threaten with a legal letter to get my deposit back. They allow illegal activities to occur in the apartments and lie about ...solving the issues. Living downstairs is horrible noise wise. You hear every footstep above. Yeah great, they renovated everything and changed the name of the place to Evergreen Gardens, but that's because of their previous bad rep that they're trying to cover up by using YOUR MONEY to clean the place up. You need to deal with professionals when you're throwing around $900 just to move in. These people ARE NOT PROFESSIONALS. Save yourself the headache and move somewhere else.Property Manager Responded

Tenants are paying more and more each month
August 1, 2016I lived here almost a year and my rent was increased twice. The number on this site will not be what you pay in rent. The only benefit of this place is that it is month to month, of course that is why they get away with increases. It would be different if the apartments didn't still have lots of problems. Another note is that cell phone reception is almost nothing inside buildings.Property Manager Responded
