My smile is down in Fenton Town
October 7, 2022I have been a resident for a little over a year. Thought it was going to be great. But noisy people upstairs have still not been quietened after a year, and I am generally unhappy with the parent company. I slipped with a wallop on the glaze ice last year. I very respectfully submitted a bill for lost wages and two chiropractor visits. I asked for $110. When I finally received an answer; it was a nasty gram and they had lawyered up on me. It was an affront! Snow removal is pretty lame here. ...Beware. It is not all it is cracked up to be.Property Manager Responded

4 years - no problems
April 1, 2022Been at Fairfield for the last 4 years. There have been a few turnovers with management, but the latest one for the past few years has been great. Tammy and Mark have always been super helpful and took care of any issues I had. Cons: fenton water is terrible Walls are a bit thin, but the neighbors have always been respectful and mgmt takes care of any complaints. Very sad to leave - would not be even considering it if I wasn't relocating for work.Property Manager Responded

Secondhand Cigarette Smoke
November 8, 2020I was drawn to this apartment due to the low price and good reviews. After three months of living here I've decided that I will not be renewing my lease. The smell of other peoples cigarette smoke keeps infiltrating my apartment through the vents. I talked to the front office and they said they couldn't legally do anything about it other than tape notes to everyone's front doors telling everyone to be considerate, which they never even bothered to do. I did find out that you can get out of your ...lease by getting a doctor's note and I plan to take full advantage of that.Property Manager Responded

You’re just a paycheck to them
August 8, 2020I had 2 very expensive packages stolen around Christmas and my wife’s bday, and if that wasn’t enough her catalytic converter was literally sawed off her car during the night in less than 12 hours of parking it the night before. To make it worse, I had to keep bringing my case to 3 different managers over the course of 4 weeks cause they apparently forgot to communicate my problems to the next temp manager and the next, etc. All I wanted was to get an answer if the company would understand the ...hundreds of dollars I was out, and give us some temporary monetary help/break, considering the lack of security of any kind. Nope. They don’t care. So if you’re like me and anything happens they’ll say “sorry”: pay your rent. Nice place to live, but don’t expect management to treat you like anything other than a paycheck.Property Manager Responded
