Beautiful Apartment, Poor Management/Maintenance

We are very happy with our apartment however as soon as we moved in we noticed immediately that management and maintenance was VEEERRRYYY slow at getting around to servicing us or our apartment. We are STILL waiting to receive a copy of our lease and we moved in before the New Year, there is still a lot of work to be done in our apartment, nothing imminent however necessary, and we struggle to get in touch with management when we have questions for anything. Very frustrating and disappointing. I ...
felt obligated to write this review so that others are at least aware that this nice community is slow on the uptake. I don't know if it's just the renovations they're doing in the community or what. We've also heard the same complaints from our neighbors as well, so be wary if management and maintenance being on top of things is important to you.

I had been searching and searching all over for an apartment. A place to call home. I came across Bayview Apartments located in Patchogue ,NY. This apartment is the best place that I've ever lived. It has a wonderful view of the bay. It's very relaxing! The balcony is the best feature ever! I sit out there almost every morning with my coffee. I recommend Bayview to everyone.

A nice little complex and a great location. Not super close but definitely still walkable to downtown Patchogue. There is also a pretty dock with benches on a creek. The apartment itself is pretty standard; wall to wall carpet, basic appliances and fixtures. Nothing is terribly fancy but it was absolutely immaculate when we moved in. Paint was fresh, carpets clean, not a speck of dust or dirt. There is also an incredible amount of closet space. Each bedroom has 2 good sized closets, plus 2 hall ...
closets and a coat closet by the front door. The maintenance staff is super friendly and Theresa in the office is very helpful. Only things that keeps it from being 5 stars is the musty smell in the building hallway, the washers (in the basement of each building) only have hot water and they could use a little more parking. Still I think it is a really good value for what you get.
