EVIL EXPERIENCE - STAY AWAY
November 20, 2023I really have NO words adequate enough to describe how terrible the experience I had with Felix Apartment was. Margarette and the rest of the staff there assured my boyfriend that they would make our process of moving-in “as smooth as humanly possible” at first. My boyfriend had some criminal background from years ago but was honest with everyone at Felix from the very beginning. They reviewed the rental criteria and informed my boyfriend that nothing he mentioned matched with anything that ...would flag a non-approval so he applied. We paid a little over $100 with a processing fee for the application fee, and a little over $300 for a deposit. I thought it was odd that they were asking for deposit funds BEFORE approving him but it was paid to them. They gave us green checks of approval in every area of the application on the online portal and verbally told us that everything was good to go. We got a log-in to the portal with our new apartment number, started getting resident newsletters, etc – again all prior to the actual move-in. We discussed with them getting keys on a Friday, last Friday – everything again was great, or so we were told. The day prior to our scheduled move-in they STARTED doing the follow-up for our rental history. I know because I was in contact with our old landlord all throughout. Margette would act confused every time she got a call BACK from my old landlord, as if she wasn’t the one reaching out. They ask the previous landlord to fill out a form for rental history that was created in 1983. They call us and give us our pro-rate amount, again assure us that everything is great for TOMORROW move-in. My boyfriend arrives to pick-up KEYS for the new apartment and they inform us that something in his background came back flagged from the 3rd party approval service and that we couldn’t move-in. The day, the hour we were planning on starting – with all our possessions from our previous place packed in and keys turned in. YEP! They hadn’t bothered even processing the application for full approval until the hour we were set to actually move-in, all while leading us to believe everything was just fine. They refunded the $300 deposit but not the $100 application fee. And when my boyfriend went in there in person to really get to the bottom of things, the manager sat in the other room and refused to come out and speak to him, apologize or address the ridiculous oversight in any way.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
RATS!!!!!!!
August 6, 2020My daughter is renting from them now.. We have reported to the office that there are rats coming from the fireplace and from the kitchen behind the refrigerator eating her food a scaring the hell out of her... We have taken pictures and expressed our concerns and yet the office doesn't seem too moved. We have been told that pest control comes on Tuesday and she will be added to the list. With the concerns of COVID who knows what the rats could spread. My daughter pays monthly for pest control ...services why couldn't they schedule an appointment for pest control before Tuesday? This is totally unacceptable... Don't RENT FROM THEM!!!!Property Manager Responded

Neglect Apartments
September 27, 2019Y'all please, for the love of all that is good DO NOT MOVE HERE! I have been washing my dishes in the restroom because they have told me I am not a priority and it is not an emergency for the past 4MONTHS!!! My lease is up soon and I cannot wait to get out of here! If your looking for a place that will neglect you, look no further! The sink issue has trickled to a pest infestation problem that they refuse to acknowledge. There are also multiple leaks and no help has been provided. Disappointed
August 15, 2018All I can say is that the web page and description of the apartments are false. The apartment size is great, but the condition is poor, dry rooted cabinets with boards placed over the problem to hide the damage, roach problem, no new appliances, my stove has a short in it, front eye needs to be banged in order for it to turn on, if you put the oven on 350 your food will burn with in 10min, refrigerator old place for an ice maker no ice maker, some plugs have shorts and blow the breaker. If thy ...would pay as much attention to the apartment units as they do the outside, this would be a great place to live. These units need to be upgraded desperately, what appears on the web page and the actual unit so very different. April 20, 2018Do not rent at this complex it is infested with roaches. It has a real bad sewage problem that they will not fix. The plumbing is old and backed the neighbors food and water backs up and comes thru you sink, tub, and out the wall behind the washer. the air and heat never works you have to put in a million work orders for them to come patch this stuff up and within a week its back like normal. the air conditioning unit leaks water all over the bathroom and constantly drips in the shower. To top ...all this off the tub has black mold in it which they painted over to make the tub look new but the paint peels over time and you can exactly what they are trying to hide and it stinks bad they will not install a new tub and refuse to even repaint. the carpet is cleaned so pretty when you move in but within a few weeks you see these black marks appearing in the carpet looks like it can also be mold. the cabinets and stove looks like rats have nibbled all the lining out . Its horrible sad thing is they would not show me the apartment until after you have paid and signed a lease claiming that they are not done working on it and when finally see it its to late... Please stay away from these apartments they will rip you off not to mention the sewer water that runs in the middle of the road and you can literally see the tissue and things in that your kids or you have to walk and drive thru.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com

April 2, 2018I've been here almost a year and I can't say my experience has been bad at all...I mean I had a few issues in the beginning but everything has been pleasant. They're working hard to get things done around here and on my end in a timely manner. We as people have to learn that although it's their jobs to get things done around here they are human beings and is trying their best to accommodate the needs of so many people so treat them how u would want to be treated and know that things happen out of ...our control they didn't build the apartments or appliances so with that being said this is a huge beautiful complex (ugly colors lol) but the layout is very nice and unless it's a maintenance man for each resident give them a break they have alot on their hands and have to do it with a smile as we do at work. Diana our manager in my eyes is sweet and does her job well as well as her office staff I just love Latoya! Great place to live
December 30, 2017I have been living here for many years & I love it. It has not always been great since there has been staff change through the years. The last few years have been great. I feel that the staff & management truly care about me and all resident's. They have added a fitness center & pool is now always open. They are also painting & doing alot of work on the outside. Leasing agents and leasing call agents are rude
October 3, 2017I came to see the apartments and fell in love.. beautiful environment, but the leasing agents seemed to have a bad and unwelcoming attitude. I asked the manager for their corporate number and she refused and also said I was being rude by asking for their number. I went there 3 times and she had a bad attitude everytime. It left me with a bad taste, I could not see myself living and renting from them, and I could tell I would have problems with them.Property Manager Responded

Poor Maintenance
July 24, 2017Refrigerator has been broken since Friday it is now Monday. Went to see whats going on because im tired of buying ice everyday. Even though I filled out a service request they have no idea where its at and dont know when someone can come to look at my refrigerator. Amazing and welcoming!!!
June 20, 2017The staff is amazingly welcoming! Because of the leasing agents I came back and leased with them. Their pool area is so beautiful! I can say I'm excited to live here and I know the sweet ladies in the office will tend to my every need as I have felt that already. As for the reviews I was a little disappointed but I did give it a shot and I'm So happy I did give that chance. Everywhere else I went I was rushed out the door here I actually got a complete run down of everything and all questions ...were answered. Never did I feel like I was wasting someone's time.
