About Forest Glen Senior Apartments-62 & Older

Immediate occupancy! Forest Glen 1 and 2 is a 238-unit community thoughtfully designed for Independent Active Adults 62 and up and Adults with Disabilities. Our spacious apartments include fully equipped kitchens with a refrigerator, electric stove, and dishwasher. In addition to the designer fixtures and finishes, each apartment has smoke detectors, garbage disposal, sprinkler system, grab bars in tub/shower area and individually controlled heat/AC units. Our community also includes Controlled Access Entry, Cardio Fitness Center, Laundry Center, Free Parking, Gazebo, and Activity Room. We are pet friendly up to 25 pounds full grown (non-refundable deposit and monthly pet fee applies for each pet, maximum 2 pets). Our stunning community offers the convenience of planned activities but also have the freedom to shop and explore at the nearby shopping center featuring banking, post office and restaurants. Top rated INOVA Fair Oaks Hospital system is approximately within 6 miles. Fastran transports residents to the Giant, H-Mart, Walmart and Wegmans. We are income restricted and accept Housing Choice and VASH Vouchers. Rent for a one-bedroom apartment is $1560.00 Rent for a two-bedroom apartment is $1900.00 per month. Residents pay phone, cable, and electricity. Gas heat, sewer and trash removal are included in the monthly rent.

I am writing my review in support of Nhu-Y the leasing agent that is on top of things at Forest Glen. I have looked at reviews on other sites and she receives rave reviews which is the reason why this place edged out another senior living that is newer off of Autumn Willow Drive. Nhu-Y did indeed prove to be wonderful to both my mother and myself in answering all of our questions and taking care of our application in a timely manner so my mother can move closer to me as soon as possible. I have lived here for almost 3 yrs. and I like it very much . It is independent living and I have met so many wonderful friends here. We are like a big huge family and we help each other out all time. these apartments are for 55 and up/and or disabled. I highly recommend these apartments if u don't mind them being small

Reasonable prices for this "Washington DC" area. Has one or two bedrooms, a kitchen and bathroom. Not a great deal of space . This is a livable area without city buses but the management has arranged for occasional buses for shopping, churches and now and then recreation companies to provide transportation for some needs. There is a small shopping center about a block away with a PNC Bank, several small restaurants, a gas station, a paint store and an Asian grocery market. There is also an ...
