I lived at Forest Oaks while I attended BSU and it has been the absolute worst place I have lived in.
Property manager changed at some point and is barely ever on the property, even during the businesses hours. Constantly having to battle all different kinds of bugs, flooding and neighbors who smoke inside of their apartments. Heating prices in the winter go through the roof because of the poor construction and maintenance as well. The maintenance team is competent and reliable; they usually ...

I spent a considerable amount of time looking at apartments in Muncie before choosing Forest Oaks Apartments.
I chose this community over ones with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. The apartments at Forest Oaks are extremely well maintained, incredibly spacious, and close to everything. There are many mature trees, it’s quiet and has an awesome safety record. I wasn’t willing to throw away large and cozy rooms for stainless steel. I am impressed with the maintenance staff. ...
Their response time is excellent. Apartment Management is usually very attentive and quick to respond- only to drop you like a hot potato after you’ve moved in. That doesn’t happen at Forest Oaks. Mindi is amazing, and this is true long after you’ve moved in.

This is easily the best complex I've ever rented in. The community is friendly, the area is quiet, the buildings are lovely, the units are peaceful and beautifully decorated, and the pool and fitness center are nice and well maintained. The central block is good for walking laps. Mindi is a generous and kind landlord and cares about her tenants, and is quick to help. I lived here two years and enjoyed every moment, and was sad to say goodbye.

I have lived at Forest Oaks for 2 years. It is by far the best place I have lived. It’s a great community, close to several grocery stores, and multiple restaurants. The pool and gym area are very well maintained. The property manager, Mindi, is very good at getting any issues taken care of quickly. my company put me up at this apartment complex. i was a little leery at first because i haven't had the best time living in apartments in the past. these apartments are pretty spacious and super quiet which is a big plus. my profession is really hectic so that helps a ton. it's nice to be able to come home to mostly quiet. so far, i'm pretty satisfied. it's a really nice place and i would recommend.
