    Elevator in these apartment have been out of service going on 2 weeks with vague updates from Management and emails telling us not to call their office. Completely unprofessional and ridiculous. If you want to deal with an apartment complex with 4 floors and no working elevator move right in.

    I lived at Gema (aka The Heritage) for 4-5 years before COVID and I returned to this property recently because I had a great experience here. I'm happy about my decision and I plan to stay for a few years as long as the rent remains reasonable. You get a lot of space for the price and the location is great if you enjoy the city life without a lot of traffic or disruption. The staff is welcoming, helpful and wonderful too.

    Gema Feels Like Home to me. I really enjoy living there and I'm grateful to have met many wonderful people on the staff. I would easily recommend this to any number of friends looking for housing.

    I have lived here for several years and enjoy the community and amenities. The staff here are wonderful and always very helpful. My apartment is in a great location near downtown and within walking distance to Petco Park and Balboa Park. My apartment is awesome!

    Overall not very satisfied with the quality of units in Gema. Maintenance seem to have band aid fixes for larger issues, and the management seems to be fine with this way of handling tenants requests and issues.

    GEMA is an excellent place to live, the apartment community is clean a quiet …and the access you have is great. Freeway access right around the corner, the beautiful Balboa Park and Museum and Zoo right around the corner, Seaport Village is a one mile walk as well as the number one ballpark in the country ..Petco Park!
