Great place to live!!
June 10, 2025I have lived at Gilbert Greens for a year. This is a great place to live! The application and approval process was quick and easy. Syd and Ana are amazing! I have never lived in an apartment complex where the office staff has been very nice, honestly, but Syd and Ana are very professional, friendly, always open to questions and concerns and respond to anything very quickly. Syd and Ana address any concerns with the apartments, pool and other issues on the grounds with the entire complex to get ...things solved and I appreciate that. We all have to live together. Also, the maintenance crew are really great, knowledgeable and any requests I have made were taken care of within 24 hours. If you are looking for a nice place to live in Gilbert, I highly recommend Gilbert Greens!! ***In response to the bad review about rules, I do not have the same opinion on the rules. The pool has been broken because people are throwing rocks and such in it multiple times. I feel that it is appropriate to address this and any rules that are broken to all of the residents. If someone has not broken any complex rules, then just don’t worry about it if it does not apply to you.***Property Manager Responded

DO NOT RENT HERE
April 6, 2023First and foremost, DO NOT RENT HERE. I have been a resident since 2017 and ever since Chamberlin and Associates took over, this complex has gone downhill. We have had a maintenance request in the system since March 13th and it still has not been completed. I have spoken multiple times to both maintenance staff and to Carla, the property manager, about it being completed and they always say they will complete it and they still haven’t to this day. Also, last Friday our washing machine broke. We ...called at 2:30 PM to let them know. Mind you, we pay $75/month for a washer and dryer. Maintenance came on Monday to look at it so we went all weekend without a washing machine. We were told the part would be in and installed yesterday (Wednesday 4/5) and nobody ever came. I called today to find out what was going on and finally maintenance came to install it. The worker was working on it for a bit then abruptly left. We had to call the office to find out why he suddenly left then we were told now it won’t be fixed until tomorrow. That will mark 1 week without a washing machine. We asked to use a vacant units washing machine and were told no and that we could use the laundromat on site, which we would have to PAY MORE MONEY to use. They don’t care about getting things done for you as a resident. I recommend living here if you want nothing done and want to pay a high amount of rent for an outdated apartment.Property Manager Responded

Took a chance
March 2, 2023We were in a rush to move and this was the only place in Gilbert that had an apartment ready to move into. I read the reviews and can say they can be off putting. But I needed a place ASAP. Don’t believe everything you read! Brynnen helped me with my move in. I applied Thursday evening - well after hours. And by Saturday day, the property manager approved me and moved me in within hours of approval!!! I can’t thank them enough for really understanding my need to move ASAP and getting it done so ...quickly. Felt like they genuinely cared. Not sure if they have just recently gone under new management but if so, they made the right call. Thanks Brynnen and Carly !Property Manager Responded

NO NO NO NO - and the color is awful!!!!
November 28, 2022Truly living in the Gilbert slums. Terrible maintenance. Terrible management that nickel and dime you to death! Brass ceiling fans, popcorn ceilings, laminate counters and cabinets that are peeling, mismatched and decades old appliances, counters that are attached to wall by globs of caulking. Add in 75.00 a month to have a stackable washer and dryer that probably won’t be from this decade, very high water fees, no gym and awful landscaping that is constantly flooded out for hours (nice winter ...grass seed floating down the street)and add in cockroaches, rats, and German roaches. A working stove is considered two working burners and the other two you are required to pull out of the stove and shove back in for it to ‘maybe’ heat up. You don’t get to decide if you want style over affordability. Don’t think “it’s not as bad as they say” and take a chance renting here. Just say NO!!!Property Manager Responded
