Renovation Surprise
September 20, 2024I recently moved from an older to a newer unit, near where I used to live. While the moving was tedious and expensive (and might have been incentivized by Banner, rather than having to move), it's turned out to be worth it. In place of old worn carpet, there is new flooring: a faux wood surface that looks nice and feels good under foot. Plus you can now sweep easily vs. having to hoover. The kitchen area is still too small for a relaxed cooking experience. However, the new appliances, their ...look and feel, make it more enjoyable to hang out there. New stove, black, easy to clean, more user friendly cooking panel, plus a Microwave built-in. The fridge is also new with the old-fashioned plastic white exterior replaced by a shiny new silver surface. The fridge has a bigger interior and is laid out for more convenient stocking. One definite negative is that the a/c is the same older unit and mine is quite noisy. Where I live, in the 6700 block, is also quieter overall and parking is convenient. I've had a couple of maintenance issues which has been responded to promptly. Overall, after five years, I still like living here and find the Glen Hills community friendly and approachable.Property Manager Responded

No Laundry
March 10, 2024The "laundry" in the building is 2 constantly broken washers and dryers which you have to pay for. Management is never any help in this issue either.Review from Apartments.com
Dogs
January 7, 2024Nice updated apartments for price. However, they will literally allow a person with more than one dog to live over someone with no pets. Its quite annoying to hear dogs running every single day no matter the time of day or night. I truly hate I moved here. Glen Hills Apartments
July 27, 2023I’ve lived at Glen-hills apartments since 2012.. My stay here had been for the most part nice. The grounds are well maintained and every year they have annual flower ? give away and a themed picnic every year. Maintenance is great if there’s an issue they’ll address it right away. Office personnel are always pleasant and nice. The recent updates that have been made are really nice. I’ve recently moved to an updated unit. It’s been peaceful, of course no one place is going to be perfect but if ...you’re in the market for a place, give them a try..Property Manager Responded

Affordable apartments
August 7, 2021I lived at Glen Gills for two years - the apartment was spacious, affordable, and pet friendly! The grounds are well maintained, it’s close to the Oak Trail and there’s a park and a forest close by! Maintenance was responsive even during Covid restrictions, and the office staff are friendly and helpful. It’s a great place to live, and I recommended it!Property Manager Responded

This property is excellent
February 16, 2021I had a great experience at Glen Hills Apartments! As a college student attending UW-Milwaukee, the apartments were a very affordable option to rent and live within close proximity of campus. The office staff were always extremely friendly and accommodating towards me. They also have an excellent maintenance staff who immediately responded to any of my requests and kept the property up to date in general. As a runner, I also really enjoyed living across the street from the oak leaf trail. April 3, 2020This is a nice quiet area. For me a peaceful area is a must,and the property management makes sure to keep it that way. Having the accessibility of being able to pay your rent online is great. They strive really hard to make things as conveneient as possible for people.
