One Of The Better Ones In Broome County
January 28, 2024I lived here for several years and had an overall decent experience. Pros: allows pets; property is well-maintained; never saw any cockroaches. Cons: property manager can be standoffish; plumbing issues (egg smell occasionally comes up through drains); thin walls. The complex had a bed bug breakout that tenants were notified about, but maintenance immediately inspected all apartments to ensure they were eradicated. At night, during the summertime, you can smell the farm up the road.Review from Apartments.com
It's Okay
August 2, 2015Glen View has it's ups and downs. This is my first place so I don't have a whole lot to compare it to. It has on site laundry which is a plus. Another plus is the carport. Each unit gets one with extra off street parking. Not a whole lot of sense of community here. Everyone sticks to themselves. There used to be a pool here but that was long gone before I moved in, all that's left is an asphalt slab where it used to be. There are a lot of families with kids here. One important thing to note is ...management will raise your rent each time you renew your lease. Lease options include yearly, 6 months, and month to month.
