June 1, 2023Five stars for the neighborhood which is contributing to the one star that I'm giving Glenwood Park Lofts. My first month has been a constant battle with management because my apartment was NOT move-in ready by the date presented to me when I was visiting and signing my lease. I even moved in 12 days after the move-in date and the apartment was filthy, the walls were not painted (When I put in the work order to have the walls painted maintenance responded that it was already painted prior to move ...in but there were literally boogers and stains on the wall and then the maintenance supervisor went through his files to see that it had never been completed in the first place), the toilet was and still is broken, there were bugs in the light fixtures, there were items left in the freezer from the previous resident, the oven was caked with filth, there's a stain in the bathroom counter that management REFUSES to replace even though it cannot be wiped off and I just have to live with it, plus there is STILL a broken window. I have already had to get legal advice two weeks into my move to this complex and have had to submit 25 work orders and I have only lived here ONE month. I had to vacate not even two weeks into my move to be put into a hotel for them to supposedly paint the apartment and have it professionally cleaned which it was not professionally cleaned. They act as if I should be grateful that they provided a hotel and space for my pets while they completed what should have been completed PRIOR to my move-in date, not understanding that I moved from out of state so being displaced and uncomfortable in my own apartment is frustrating, despite their "efforts". I wouldn't need extra accommodations if my apartment was move-in ready at the date I was being pressured to sign the lease. Management lies and says things are done and that they witnessed it being done when there is a camera showing that they were not even in the unit when the supposed work orders were completed. My rent has been two different amounts that is NOT what is listed on my LEASE. Whenever I call no one answers. The leasing manager even had the audacity to ask me to leave a review, although nothing in my apartment was completed prior to me moving in.Property Manager Responded

No Security, broken amenities, trash, and more..
August 9, 2022This is the last straw. Do not live here unless you're excited about bullet holes through apartment windows at head height on the 1st floor, constant car break-ins, bullets in the guest parking lot, and club-volume pool parties at 11:30PM on the weekday. Two nights ago there was a shooting covered by the news at this building. I understand things happen, but the communication was horrible. We received a text message that it wasn't safe for us to come home, and we never got a text message saying ...when it was safe. Still no acknowledgement that there was a shooting despite them sending near daily texts to residents about parking and pool closures. We asked the property manager today, in person, whether it was safe to be here and she said "yes! it was an isolated incident." Our guests asked us if it was safe to be here after seeing bullets in the parking lot September 23, 2021! Almost a YEAR ago! When we asked whether she saw the bullet holes in the apartment windows and the car that got shot through, she said "no I didn't, can you send us the photos?" REALLY?! HOW CAN YOU NOT KNOW? This is not a big apartment complex. The bullet holes face the only street you can access the property with. Lies at best, extreme negligence at worst. I've sent photos of the weekday parties to management and their solution was to close the pool for weeks instead of just hiring overnight security. We have tried calling the "concierge security" service that never picks up, communicating directly with management, and calling 911 ourselves. I'm tired of it, I'm scared, and this review is long overdue. The gym equipment is broken with sharp pieces sticking out. The garbage service we pay for is completely unreliable. The hallways are constantly filled with roaches, dog poop, and centipedes. And to top it all off, our rent was raised $300 this year during our renewal. Don't even bother.Property Manager Responded

Do not move here
September 2, 2021The property is unkept with them in most cases doing the bare minimum to get by. For months the gates were and unlocked and not secured. Your visitor may come out to a broken window. Leasing staff lacked hospitality and are not great listeners. Amenities are outdated. Flooring was poorly installed and there were several spots where it was peeling. Don't Live Here
September 27, 20203 star apartments, 0 star service. While I lived here I lost multiple packages due to the luxer system and my packages were rarely logged, meaning I needed to call customer service every time I had a delivery. The walls were very thin and I could hear everything in the hallway and outside. I stepped in puke in the hallway one morning and avoided dog poop in hallways, elevators, and parking garages regularly. The valet trash service regularly came late and sometimes not at all. I additionally had ...issues with bugs especially ants and had to wait a week for the pest control we are charged monthly for. I believe an apartment near me was unclean though this went unaddressed by management despite bringing up this concern. When I moved out my security deposit was not returned and I was billed TWO MONTHS afterward to replace a stove top that was fully functioning with some scratches due to the nature of the stove top which was cleaned and cared for regularly. Don’t live here, there are a number of other places nearby that must be better.Property Manager Responded

February 11, 2019I’ve lived at Glenwood Park lofts for a little under a year and I’ve enjoyed my time here. I am leasing the studio floor plan which is super spacious. February 9, 2019I have lived on this property for 5 years and I love it! I have watched this property transition into a gem. This is my home and I am proud to say this. I’ve lived on other properties for less time and never could get the feeling of being at home. The property manager Lauren really has what it takes to manage a property, she is personable, kind and she remembers your name. Paris the assistant property manager is just as personable and kind and she also remembers your name. I love popping into the ...office to say hi. They are genuinely good people and take concern and care for the residents and the grounds. The leasing agent Ashley is very kind and is great at what she does. The maintenance and ground crew...omg!!!! They are awesome!!!! They do there job in decency and orderly. For me it’s like first class service all around. I treat people how I want to be treated and it surely comes back through this great group of people. In my opinion they exude great service. Thank you all for all that you do!!! I definitely recommend Glenwood Park, please come tour. February 6, 2019Wish there was a -99 star!!!! Staff is rude and unorganized! I has to wait 3 months to get blinds put in my room and mold inspected in my room. The ceiling leaks and valet trash ( that I pay for ) is inconsistent!! they fee residents for EVERYTHING even when extra fees are already added!!! My rental car was booted even though I pay for parking and the matter was not expedited when I requested a dispute! Office hours are not flexible for full time workers! E checks are often "lost in mail" and ...depositing checks are delayed by about a month!!! Do not live here if you are looking for a peaceful environment!!! July 9, 2018I recently applied for an apartment here at Glenwood Park Lofts and boy was it a welcoming feel! The leasing specialist was very very helpful and polite, no complaints there. I didn't take the apartments due to me having way too many things to move in, but this complex is in a great location and has nice amenities. Maintenance seemed coordinated and dedicated per conversation I heard over the radio. I'd recommend those apartment shopping to take a tour!Review from Apartments.com
Go Somewhere Else
July 31, 2015I would not recommend living here. Reasons why: - Every month I had to call the office because our bill was wrong- typically I was over charged for something. - My HVAC unit broke in December. I called maintenance and it took them almost two weeks to come out. He couldn't fix the problem and said he had to talk to his supervisor about it- that's the last I heard of it. My electric bill was $300 that month. I went to the office with the bill and after 5 months of going back and forth they only ...gave me $50 off. Needless to say I lived without heat through the winter. - When I moved in I asked them to fix a window that wouldn't stay open. I asked 4 or 5 times throughout my time living there and it was never fixed. - The workout equipment broke after 4 months of living there and was never fixed. - The key to the parking gate rarely worked properly. - The units themselves are nice looking (hence the one star), but they do not attract a nice crowd; you can always hear people outside yelling in the middle of the night, multiple cars were broken into, and at least one apartment unit that I know of. They got new management recently which were the ones who decided to only give me $50 for my $300 electric bill that was outrageously high because of a faulty HVAC system. My electric bill spiked one month and I told them I thought the HVAC was broken, so I kept it off until they sent someone out to fix it. After they said it was fixed, I started using it again and my energy bill more than tripled and the complex refused to to compensate me. So don't let them use "new management" as an excuse for improving previous problems. And for icing on the cake, after moving out I received a collections call for a bill I had paid on time.
