Hidden Fees
August 11, 2025The washing room is constantly down, they have several hidden fees, they don't take out the garbage, and ownership is extremely hard to reach and don't really seem to care about tenants. The Wi-Fi is also constantly down making it really difficult as a college student. The location is nice, but its not worth dealing with everything else.Property Manager Responded
August 12, 2025Sorry to hear that you feel this way about our property and your overall experience, we would like to discuss your issues further. Please allow me a second to address a few of these to the best of my ability. 1. Hidden Fees: Please let us know which fees you are speaking of, we currently charge a Common Utility Fee, this covers the Water/Sewer and Internet. There is also a Resident Benefit Pkg, covering a Master Liability policy and rewards program (credit building, credits toward gift cards, etc). These fees are outlined in all leases. 2. Garbage: There are 6 six dumpsters on the property that are managed by a local disposal company, they are responsible for weekly pickups (not our staff). I will agree with you, unfortunately we are dealing with full dumpsters with turnover and many times people just throw it on the ground. Our staff tries to keep up with the ground trash as much as possible. 3. WiFi: WiFi service is controlled by Spectrum, we don't have any control over ...the service. We can do our best to contact Spectrum regarding the service. 4. Communication: Right now our office is extremely busy, in and out with move in / out. If you have any questions, please email: info@goldzonerentals.com ... this email comes directly to me and I do my best to communicate to all emails. Our phones are not the best way unfortunately. Truly Awful
August 17, 2017In my time here I had to deal with bedbugs, cockroaches, and some type of tiny bugs that nobody ever bothered contacting me back and telling me what they were. They do no preventative spraying for bugs. The apartments are old and shabby inside. Leasing office is aloof and rent is overpriced. Don't bother with this place.Review from Apartments.com
Small Studio Apartment
August 1, 2015The apartment is nice looking inside and out. The main room is pretty small like the rest of the apartment. But there is a nice big window in the front. My favorite part is the bathroom. It is clean with a good shower. The apartment has good storage space in the attic. The kitchen is small. It only has a mini freeze with no freezer space and no microwave. The carpet is brand new but there were lots of tiny ants when I first moved in. One Happy Grad Student
July 28, 2015I couldn't feel more comfortable or safer in my apartment. My neighbor just told me that our complex is probably the "quietist in the city". Access to a pool, recreation center and laundry just for residents, a short drive to campus, a quick jaunt from Downtown. Free parking! All utilities included but electric. You're allowed to do what you want with the little "yard" as long as you keep it pretty. My one-bedroom place has become my own home, not just an apartment.Review from Apartments.com
