I have lived in a one bedroom apartment here for three years now, and could not be more satisfied. This is a very well managed building, and they are very strict about their many rules. But if you like quiet living, and a quality of life, this place is perfect. It is my view that the rent is reasonable; especially when you consider that the heat and cooking gas are included in the rent. The underground parking is reasonable and safe. ...maintained and warm, and seldom very crowded. They are constantly maintaining the building and grounds; the central courtyard is especially wonderful. The apartments are very warm and quiet. I have never been in an apartment building that is so sound proof; I hear very little in the way of TV noise or neighbors arguing. The air conditions are powerful enough to cool the apartments down quickly, but they are only present in the living rooms. I live on the second floor, and it is a very warm apartment; which I like, but others may not. The neighborhood is also very safe, and there is a very nice park two blocks East. (Lockwood Park) It has tennis courts, a first-class playground, and athletic fields for soccer and baseball.
Overall I highly recommend choosing Graceland Gardens for your new home.
