Grand Bend Apartments: A Catastrophic Living Experience
May 30, 2023Grand Bend Apartments is an absolute nightmare. From starting construction just two weeks into the lease to leaving the apartment unfinished during winter, this place has no regard for tenant comfort. Maintenance and leasing staff are indifferent to noise and wall issues caused by the construction, while the constant smell of smoke adds to the misery. To make matters worse, the community shared washing machines are disgusting and overpriced. Worst experience ever
May 30, 2023Building was under construction 20 days after my lease began. Excruciating noise level was constant for 8 months. Exposed nails and fiberglass left after "renovation". If you are in a "renovated" Grand Bend building, especially an end unit, check your apartment for mold. Because of the exposed nails and splinters on the wood where they boarded up a window, we had it covered with a curtain. Upon move out, found black mold creeping up the wooden panel. I called the leasing office to let them know ...and they do not care. Living room exposed to outside air where door is not sealed. Maintenance staff gave me personal info about a past tenant, saying they had poured grease all over the walls and down the drain before we moved in. My parking neighbor had her gas siphoned out of her car twice. I feel bad for any children that live here because it is unsafe. There is a constant marijuana odor in the buildings and parking lots. Moving in
March 12, 2018The process of getting an apartment here has not been easy. The application process is supposed to take 2 business days and it took well over a week for us to hear back..even after calling. We applied at the end of January and it’s now March and we are just now signing a lease to begin mid April. We started looking early to make sure we would have somewhere to go when our current lease is up but had no idea the process would be this long. THESE CROOKS SHOULD BE PROSECUTED AND IMPRISONED
November 15, 2017This is how they make money on used appliances, that should have been thrown out. Stove that was in my apartment when i moved in looked like something that you would expect to see at goodwill or on the side of the road when its a garbage day. Spoke with the manager twice about replacing it - no response. Moved out, now they are charging me for damages to the stove. If you are looking for problems, loud neighbors, second hand cigarette smoke in your apartment - then this place is for you.Review from Apartments.com

Pet friendly, good apartment, friendly staff
September 5, 2015My apartment is very spacious for a one bedroom, it came with a shower/bathtub in the bathroom, stove/oven, fridge and dishwasher in the kitchen. The apartment was well maintained and kept very clean upon my move in. My neighbors are all pretty quiet and considerate of other tenants. I also like that they are pet friendly and have unique features such as the 2 pools and fitness center that are kept very clean. Apartment is nice but...
August 13, 2015The apartment is nice, location is next to a middle school - lots of kids/families reside here. Exterior of building and carports needs updating/maintenance. Parking lot needs pot holes fixed. Grounds are kept nice, the staff work hard to make sure everything is "picked up". The Grand Bend Club apartments are an more upscale then the affiliated complex next door (more money too). Hallways/stairs - carpeting needs cleaning or replacement, walls are dingy need painting. Called twice for ...maintenance- very prompt response, needs were met (A ), Exterior door of building does not always close/lock so not always secure. Promised new decks would be built (look for dated/worn) no work on the decks was ever started while I was there. Carpeting was clean but looks like it is dated, could use replacement. Bathroom is small. I live in a 2 bedroom with laundry in the apartment, this was a nice feature. Good closet space. Refrigerator did not have ice maker and was very small. Pool is not heated, looks like it could use updating, but was well maintained. Work out facility - small, but clean. Garbage trucks empty the large green containers next door at 6am, very loud.
