Great Place To Live
April 13, 2018Been here the past five years and both my wife and I are very happy living here at Grand Ville. The office and the maintenance personnel are always responsive to our needs and any issues we have had at Grand Ville. We are located on the ground level and truly enjoy our apartment. Before we moved here we checked out all the luxury apartments in this area and Grand Ville was our choice due to the layout, living space and location which far exceeded other facilities we visited. Our choice has ...been with no regrets. If you have any issue just convey them to the proper personnel and they will respond. Apartment living is living with others and there will always be issues no matter where you live. Communications will resolve most issues. Property and apartments are well kept and you're not going to find another like it because believe me I searched prior to choosing GVG and no other property compared. GrandeVille
January 27, 2018I have lived here for approximately 5 years now. I am a single mom with 2 young children an am very happy and comfortable living here. The school district (Exeter-West Greenwich) is amazing. I have a larger 2 bedroom and my children share a room at this time. They have plenty of space for both to do what they want to do. They allow pets here also which is another pro! It is so convenient to Walmart, the highway, Rte 4, etc. The office staff is awesome. They always go above and beyond to help you ...in any way they can. The maintenance staff is also amazing. All of my work order requests were completed within 24-48 hours. August 29, 2016AN OPINION: EVERYONE HAS ONE AND THIS IS MINE… TOPIC: Living at GrandeVille at Greenwich POSITIVES: 1.MANAGEMENT: An exceptional property management team along with a very experienced maintenance crew make living at GrandeVille a pleasure. 2. AMENITIES: Clubhouse, Pool, Indoor Spa, BBQ area, Clubhouse, Fitness Center, Business Center, Private Meeting Room, etc 3. SECURITY: Day or night walking the grounds at GrandeVille is an enjoyable experience and allows for one to take advantage of the ...serenity of the property. 4.RENTAL PRICES: “THE PRICE IS EQUAL TO THE WORTH OF THE PRODUCT” and the product/products in this case are all the amenities and services that are offered at no extra cost to the residents at GrandeVille. 5.Pet Friendly: On property a fenced in area where pets can explore and exercise in a safe and positive manor and just a short walk to a beautiful wooded area next to GrandeVille. 6.Keeping In Touch: Management has developed many creative ways to stay in touch with its residents such as social events held at the clubhouse where ideas and suggestions can be exchanged in a relaxing and informal atmosphere as well as the opportunity to meet other GrandeVille residents. NEGATIVES: 1.Very difficult to honestly find negatives associated with GrandeVille but if pressed I would say that speed bumps strategically placed throughout the property would be a plus. These speed bumps would be more for visitors who are not familiar with the traffic patterns of the property. Conclusion: I’m not sure exactly what it is that some folks are looking for that can’t be found here at GrandeVille at Greenwich however, as far as my family and I are concerned the bottom line is simply this; GrandeVille at Greenwich must be doing something right for we could live just about anywhere in Rhode Island that we choose and have elected to continue to call GrandeVille “Home”. October 22, 2015Pros: Well maintained, lots of closets, higher end design and finishes (some units with cathedral ceilings and/or gas fireplace, W/D in unit, they replace the light bulbs and furnace filter, storage units (reasonable $25/mo) and garages (expensive: $155/mo) were available for an additional monthly fee, nice amenities, maintenance was responsive, fabulous location Cons: Cost (rent goes up every year), utilities high, refrigerator has a design flaw: the freezer door opens whenever the refrigerator ...door is closed, require 50 days notice before vacating (otherwise late fees), 30 days notice to extend rent month-to-month (25% rent premium to go month-to-month), one month early lease conciliation fee, you must shampoo rugs (or pay someone) before you leave We had a third floor unit with a cathedral ceiling. We benefited from the heat from the unit below, but that was offset by the cathedral ceiling. I met someone who rented a 2nd floor unit and moved out because they could never get the unit warm: they were over an unheated space (garage or storage unit). November 12, 2013I've lived here 4 years and I have been beyond pleased. I have lived in rental communities for the past 20+ years (We can not own due to the work my husband does we never know when we will have to be relocated) and I can say confidently these place is wonderful. From the people I've made friends with here, to the workers and the Maintenance! The office is right here on-site and the girls are always willing to help, whether your locked out or need maintenance to come in and fix somthing, they are ...happy to get it taken care of! The grounds are great! I know some of my neighbors complain about parking and yes I will say there have been times when I've been annoyed and had to park in front of another building but really over all and in comparison with other places I've lived its not that big of a deal! Most of the time I park with in front of my building anyway. The location is super convenient! I've been very happy here and wish we could stay! Maybe we will come back to RI in the future.
